Until death do us part

I can't think of any manga that can necessarily surpass the beauty of Bride of the Water God. After all, you could almost take any panel out of that manga and FRAME IT, and it would still look gorgeous. But here goes... a list of the series that have wonderful stories AND gorgeous art.

Suggesting:

Anything by Takayama Shinobu, especially Amatsuki, which can be very stunningly beautiful and has quite a breathtaking and unique art style.

And, if you're looking for something beautiful but strange and gothic with lines that are vaguely reminiscent of calligraphy, anything by [a]Mitsukazu Mihara[/a]. Story-wise, I enjoy The Embalmer and Dokuhime, but it all depends on your taste, and her art style is a sight for sore eyes.

The Sleepy residents of Birdcage Manor has strangely attractive art. I don't know why, but I absolutely adore it.

Also, how did I forget Ilegenes. FFFFFFF, so purdy, so detailed.

Also, seconding anything by Yumeka Sumomo. Her oneshots are delicious. Also seconding Adekan. It almost gives BOtWG a run for its money. Also seconding Olimpos.

I'm gonna get shot for this, but the detail and surreal beauty (despite a sort of abstract roughness) of Kamatani Yuhki's art totally enthralls me. Nabari no Ou is a good read if you can drudge through the first couple of volumes to the bits where the focus narrows in on the sad and beautiful friendship between the two main characters.

for me Akuma de Sourou after the art change. before the art is crap but as you go on the art gradually changes and before you know it its beautiful. the storyline is also good too.

Thank all of you for your suggests! I think that Naked ape and Yuki Kaori's art is good and i appreciated these manga too
