Hello, all!

I love mangas that have are romance, fantasy, and historical. I like them geared toward females (shoujo, josei) and I prefer time (world) travel/parallel universe types of story plots as well.

I really, really, really loved the manga Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori/Red River/Anatolia Story.
I also read Fushigi Yuugi and Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden, both of which I really loved as well.
I have read Kanata Kara and Basara too, and they were pretty good.

As you might be able to tell, I like mangas that are drama rather than light and cheery.
I know that I have a lot of preferences that are restrictive, but does anyone know good mangas that are like the ones I have listed? Especially one like Anatolia Story. I have never been able to stop loving this manga, and have read it at least fives times already.

Thank you everyone in advance! You are all so, so, so wonderful and lovely!

Well, I haven't read any of what you listed, but if you like Fantasy-Historical-Romance manga, then we have the same favourite genre combo! biggrin

Anyways, something that really satisfied my craving for those genres is Akatsuki no Yona. It's a really great manga, I just love it! ^^

Maybe checking out the mangas in this thread Romance, Drama, and Set in another era!

Or you can conduct your own search in the Advance search by genres click romance, fantasy , historical and place tags you could find from the Categories cloud
like Time Travel or Parallel World/s.

As for my suggestion-
Ao no Fuuin It's by the same author as Red River. Which is probably why I feel they are similar
Meteor Methuselah Somehow I feel it fits.

You should also check out the transported to another world tag. Pretty much all of them are ones I've tagged myself, but I don't necessarily like them all though.

Saver - Highly recommended! Lena/Ley is my female love! I even own some of the physical copies. Basically starts out with angst, then real story begins in volume 2 where girl finds herself in another world. She's also the "child of prophecy".

Legend of Nereid - Resembles Basara, though a bit more on the comical side? But it still has its dark moments. Girl becomes the Warrior of Poseiden, which was prophesied to kill some royal person. As you can guess, people want her dead.
