Everything about this manga you just read had all the elements you liked, maybe even an ending that was conclusive enough for you, but something is off. Something that is making you want to give said manga a worst rating. Like lack of something, or execution in one scene/the whole manga.
What manga(s) by all means you should have loved instead, but just couldn't? (and why?)
One of these was Absolute Witch . I really don't know, but I guess it was mainly the flow of this manga that left me thinking 'mehh'. Also the lack of info on the male lead. Really everything else was great, I even liked the ending. Which I don't often like the endings of mangas. For crying out loud it had an age gap ( Love those ), but the flow of the manga brought it down, and I couldn't bring myself to like to despite all things I loved being in it.
This next manga is a yaoi ... so I'll put it under spoilers.

Ibitsu na Kakera. I would have normally given this a 10 or high 9, but I couldn't. This manga had the Psychological, and Smut thing going on, Angst, Incest, Inferiority complex, Insecurity, and Jealousy,( All those tags are to my liking) but I couldn't bring myself to love this. Mainly because it had two brothers in it, and for some odd reason I was thinking of my own two sons while reading it. They were in the back of my mind, but I kept thinking. I really hope my sons don't turn out like this. If it wasn't for that ONE thought that was in the back of my mind, I would have given it a 10.
So far those are the only two mangas that I should have loved, but just couldn't.
***I really thought there would have already been a thread with this topic but I searched about 15 pages with keywords and could not find anything.
