I'm looking for recommendations for manga like Mushishi about someone who just wanders around doing deeds for other people. Don't care about art or demographic, but a good story is a plus.

In Rurouni Kenshin, Kenshin never wanders. He stays at one place and handles incidents that are somehow connected to him directly (the final arc) or indirectly (yahiko, sanosuke/zabuza, etc.). Trigun also follows this (everything he does revolves around knives), for the most part. The manga I'm looking for are mainly about a character going around and helping people with their problems/needs/whatever instead of his/her own. Thanks anyways.

@Gorath and amaranthine: thanks, Blaster Knuckle, Golden Boy, and Eat-Man seem to be the kind of stuff I'm looking for.

Ooo picky picky. Well, seems like uv read it...finish it at least...if u haven't...besides, kenshin is supposed to be a wanderer, which he is, but because of a certain young lady (Kaoru) he was basically pressured into staying...it wasn't his fault...but I can understand ur criteria eyes
