Description
From Shoujo Manga Maniac:
Chigusa Tsukikage holds the rights to the play "The Crimson Goddess," a lost masterpiece that many would love to see brought back to the stage.
Tsukikage, however, won't allow the cherished work to be diminished by an actress who isn't worthy of playing the title role. Fortunately, she has found two young actresses that just might be worthy: Maya Kitajima and Ayumi Himekawa. Though both actresses are exceptionally talented, only one can win the coveted role.

I can't believe how such a old manga still can get new people involved! I'm way younger than the fist fans of Sailor Moon, and yet I find myself totally amazed at the characters of this manga, so real-like, so dreamy. And the art, though old-fashioned, grew on me page after page, it is lovely. I can't wait to read what happen next and I hope Miuchi sensei will draw and end to it. But even so, even unfinished, it's not incomplete. Believe me, if you like shojo, don't miss this classic, whose modernity is stunning. I don't really feel like I'm getting in love with a manga started in 1975! It's a great story of love, passion and frienship. Without flashy tricks but simply real. You won't miss to fall in love with Maya and Masumi over the time relationship.
Its a lovely manga!! I love it so much!! I've read it when I'm in 12.. now I'm 18!! it has been a loooong time a go, but I still love this story!!
Excelent manga, this is not quite shoujo but the passion about acting, except for Hajime no Ippo, Lone Wolf and Cub and a couple moreI didn't have this feeling when reading a manga
I did not know what I was getting myself into when I pick up this manga, but as I start reading it, I got hook into the plot and characters rather quickly! I spent the whole day reading the 18 volumes I have of this manga because I could not put it down! The art is reather old in style, but the author has weaved such an interesting plot that kept me turning pages after pages! A must read for shoujo fan!
