i really enjoy reading all of shinohara chie's works-anatolia story especially!
the plot is amazing and incredibly twisted. the series has so many elements-action, adventure, romance, fantasy, etc..
i highly recommend this series!

So far one of my favourite historical and romance manga. I've neveer been into historyical manga but this one catches my eye and capture my heart.. tellin me to read this manga.. then here i goes getting fired up waiting for the next release.. just like Kanata kara.. this both manga are just my type..

This mangas romance and love triangles reminds me a little of Love monster but there its funny I mean in love monster she is always getting guys falling for her and fall in love with her and if they can´t get her they kidnap her same thing is happening in this manga

Because of this manga, I started learning japanese so that I can read raw manga

this is one of my favorite mangas. the historical setting is intriguing, and the romance between kail and yuri is great. thrown in are an evil queen who will stop at nothing to get what she wants, a couple of guys who fall for yuri and keep kidnapping her xD, wars, a baby, and devoted followers, and there you go!! instant success. i can't wait to read more. . .

I love everything about this manga, the story, characters and the art work. It's one of my favorites which keeps me energetic and eager to read more. Very exciting plot and I just love it!

This is one of the best manga I have read and I have read a lot.I just wanted to say this.The storyline characters,plot...Its a great experience.I`m still om deep shock after reading the most recent volume.And the thought that I have just read a little bit more than a half of it leaves me deeply craving for more.
It reminds me alot of Basara -another great manga.I just like the historic setting and keep wanting to know how it all will look when the manga ends.
The art is great-very detailed and it has that "old" style which is a big plus with me.The plot set up in ancient mezopotamia territory is a big turn on and it progresses smothly.The char development is worth praise.THe overall experiance is very high.
READ IT!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Anatolia is an awsome manga. My favorite. The plot and characters are all really great. The drawings are very well done too. It's also really long so there is a lot to read.

I enjoyed this alot, it kinda reminded me of Kanata Kara where the main character is whisked away to another world against her will. Though unlike Kanata Kara I thought the main character and the plot overall were much better.

I definately agree with the last reviewer that the main character Yuri is a little annoying at first. However contrary to what I thought she does not stay totally helpless and depending on the guy throughout the story (though the number of times she needed to be saved annoyed me quite a bit). She accomplishes quite a bit by herself as she adapts to the situation she is placed in and eventually learns USEFUL stuff in the story (like learning how to fight), as opposed to the heroine in Kanata Kara, who screamed her head off or cried in a difficult situation.

While the art is a little old fashioned, the story more than makes up for it. The world in Red River is very enjoyable to read about and kept me addicted well until the latest volume. I really wan't to read more!

pretty interesting story.. so far that i've read... (only 2 volumes) but the first 2 volumes show what an idiot that girl, yuuri is.. sigh... i hope she gets some brains and becomes more mature and level-headed later... though she does have a pretty good heart... SIGH... it's almost a sin for her to get by being so brainless... it's all thanks to the prince kai that she can survive... she'd better do something important later... else i can't carry on reading...
