i read volume 1 but the drawing SUCK....so disappointed....does it improve later on? the anime art was so much better.....

The story and characters is just utterly amazing. The consistency of the characters through the series is what makes it even better. None of that evil to good nonsense. The misleading cover and title of the manga is what made me even more shocked. Awsome brutality a definite must for guro fans. Nothing like psychos that want to be god to add spice to any story. I hope you will love Bandou as much as I did.

why is it taking so long for it to be scanlated? this is one of my greatest favs, but it gets a new chapter every 4 months! why??!?!?!!?!? please let the chapters come!

just wow. the manga goes deeper than the anime did. and i loved the anime. bit of a surprise with the nudity, but great nonetheless.

this is a great manga which i say which is better to the anime since more characters and a lot more ecchi scenes hehe..

but i recommend this i just cant see how others hate this..

Don't **** up the ratings, I mean, seriously... you're gonna have elfen-lied fans all over you telling you totally suck at reviewing or commenting because you don't take time to know everything before actually spilling out on us just how seriously ****ed you are. Like my subject states this one f**ked up awesome manga, and yes, really tragic as well. Blood, gore, utter violence, nudity; whats not to like.

Anyway, charater development was key in this one, considering the fact that someone will ramdomly die when you least expect it, and how the story molds around the characters keeps it entertaining to readers. The ending didn't leave major holes to plug up and it didn't leave a sour taste in my mouth.

I can't dub this the greatest thing you will ever read but i can tell you that you won't waste your time.

loved it to death. Both the anime and the manga. The anime was wonderfully animated and soundtracked, the manga explained more... kinda.

Plot-wise The anime had a bit too little though, and the manga had bit too much, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it on a whole.

i think its a great work the art are wonderful the violence excellent and the romance part very romantic really.also i think sexual abuse and pedo do exist and its a good point showing them so for those who says it's ecchi be aware wa are human not angel we all need sex "sorry for being rude but its the reality.in sum i m looking forward for the rest of the series and i hope that lucy won't die in the end maybe the strange power that have nana will save the world and lucy maybe.
