vampire knight because it seemed like every other shoujo manga, except instead of sex it was drinking blood. also felt like they rushed early on and suddenly the character i liked was too serious. and i do like some shoujo manga. maybe i'll give it another chance one day.

freezing was another i stopped caring about. seemed like there was very little plot progression.

I dropped Freezing because the guy was useless. He started out kinda cool, standing up for the girl and his friends, turning out to be a super powerful Limiter and stuff... Then what the hell happened?! He turned into a wimp and did absolutely nothing!! NOTHING to help when he was needed most!!!

Useless!!!

Medaka Box because the mangaka decided to destroy all of its potential and turn it into your run of the mill shounen fighting manga.

I also dropped Rave recently because the story started getting a little repetitive and boring.

Stopped reading Bleach again. I don't know why I periodically catch up on it. I never get into it enough to actually read it as it come out.

And I actually am moving everything to my on hold list except for the things I'm actually interested in reading right now(or am reading right now). Only one on there of interest that's had a recent release is Kurohime. The story slowed down a lot lately so I'll just leave it hanging and catch up on it later. And Negima has been kinda boring in these last... many chapters since the Tournament with Rakan ended.

EDIT: And after cutting a bunch I'm down from 300-something to 78. I feel like I should cut more but most of them are kinda sporadically released. laugh

Same, that and Narue no Sekai which I don't even know why I started.

Rappi Rangai because there is really nothing interesting in this series. I know the girls are very pretty (being an ecchi harem manga) but it's rushed and cliche. I also don't like the ninja genre so...

I like this mangakas other work, but this irritated me.

Agree, I dont remember most of the mangas I had dropped but that was one of those of what I remembered.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Wanting sex is normal, but what she did to get sex was.. X_X. And she didn't even seem to mind going in between brothers, not bestfriends or plainly friends, BUT BROTHERS.

But would it still count if I just recently opened it again to just check out the ending?! Hmm.. well, nevermind smile

Kimi ni Todoke

I just...stopped. I tend to do that when a series becomes overly popular. It was decent, but perhaps because there was nothing really to keep me reading.
I give up manga a lot though. Any top shoujo manga out there, I bet you I've stopped reading it.

Hokenshitsu no Shinigami, I like it, but I'm bored with it. Episodic up till the point I read to and that's boring.

Magico

Interesting system, interesting world too. The big problem is it's too freaking shounen cliched and the plotline is setting itself up to be serious and stuff.... sad

It's times like these I wish a manga were seinen or josei.

Ai no Koe

Let's just say I prefer my sex to be a helluva smuttier and more along seijin level and not some boring ol' sex.

Arachnid

Well, the problem is it's another of those seinen where they use really convoluted and over-the-top explanations to set up the plot, except I couldn't really get into the writing at all.

Carnivorous Princess Yegrinna

Great art but too much boring fanservice.

Death Edge Not that interesting for me.

Devil Clutch

Ebisu-san to Hotei-san Too immatured for me.

Lol i read all of the translated Freezing but i agree, i got annoyed by the guy when he just stood there yelling "senpai senpai" when she was getting her ass kicked.

I dropped pandora hearts after 6 or 7 chapters cause they just introduced a million concepts at once and everyone wanted him as some kind of key and things became confusing and went too fast.

It's not a seinen. 'Tis shounen.
