I just read Corseltel no Ryuujitsushi and the sequel, and I really want more!

I'd like something heart warming and cute and awe~ worthy.
I want a little action, or fantasy, and preferably something with kids, because they make cute situations, but really, I'll take most anything. (I'm more of a shounen-ai fan, but that doesn't mean I want shounen-ai!) I don't really need or want much romance in it

Kinda like these stories.
boku wa ne
Hibiki's magic
Aventura
gakuen babysitters

I don't want 4-koma, or oneshots, or slightly odd ones like
[m]Yotsubato[/m]

Thanks in advance!!!! biggrin

If you like kids and haven't yet read Flat (Aogiri Natsu), you're in for a treat. It's absolutely amazing and completely adorable.

Also about kids: My Girl (Sahara Mizu).

If you're just looking for cute with a little bit of action, Minna ai no Seine might work for you, especially if you like shounen ai. It's not quite, but all the main characters are attractive males, so...

Just cute: Akagami no Shirayukihime. It's heartwarming and cute to the extreme. There's action and fantasy, but no children (well... there is a slightly younger boy, but he's a little gruff sometimes.)

Just cute and heartwarming: (no action violence, no fantasy) Kingyo Sou.

A few of these have romance. I'm not much of a romance fan myself, so I know where you're coming from. If you're looking for something that is consistently heartwarming, you might try Natsume Yuujinchou and pretty much everything else by that mangaka.

I hope some of these perk your interest. They're all well worth a look. Good luck!

Yotsubato! - Cute story about day to day life through a little girl's eyes.

Safe Again Today - Cute story about alien refugees adapting to human life. Several of them are teens/older children.

Gakuen Alice - Heartwarming fantasy/shoujo about a girl and the friends she makes at a special school.

I agree with Kingyo sou, even though it has romance.

I thought Miyori no Mori was cute. It's about a sarcastic 10 year old girl that moves to the country to live with her grandparents.

Thank you ShadowSakura! I've read those, but I'm always up for rereading them. ^_^
Alaena Night, I love Natsume Yuuchinchou and Shirayukihime too! I'm definitely going to try out the other ones you've suggested. biggrin
And thank you faraway, Safe again today sounds interesting!

@ acmangalover: I'm glad you enjoy those series, too! It's really hard to find good ones... ;A;

ON THAT NOTE, I just remembered: I have to recommend Issho ni Neyou yo. Seriously, this is amazing and heartwarming (with the occasional bittersweet tug at your heartstrings). I respect this mangaka like nothing else. She has a way with storytelling. Her Golden Days is also excellent, but not quite as heartwarming (it is heartwarming, but the emphasis is on the slice-of-life drama.)

@ Alaena Night Thanks! I've only read one chapter of that series, but I stopped for some reason I don't remember. But now that I know she did Golden Days too, I'll pick up Issho ni Neyou yo again!

@ acmangalover: It's still ongoing and very strange (honestly, every single one of her series is so vastly different...) but it's quite enjoyable, especially when it begins to explore the personalities and motivations of all the people who live in the house. It may not be your type of story, but for reasons I can neither describe nor comprehend, I adore it even though I never know what to expect. biggrin

Hmm, I'm out of adorable and heartwarming that don't focus solely on romance, but I'll post again if I think of more! Come to think of it, most of Yumeka Sumomo/Sahara Mizu's oneshots have a strange sort of heartwarming adorableness to them. Some of them are just quietly thought-provoking, though.

@ Alaena Night Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions! They're really helpful. I'm reading Flat right now, and it's so cute I'm melting! XD I'll surely look at Yumeka Sumomo's works if you suggest them. biggrin

@ acmangalover: Yay! Flat is really that cute. I love it to death. Yumeka Sumomo can be hit and miss, though... some of her stuff (the first oneshot for Nanairo Sekai, for example) can be absolutely heartwarming. Others are quieter and much, much more understated, which might not necessarily be what you're looking for.

Baw, I ramble. I'll shut up and stop monopolizing this lovely thread.

Minna Kirakira!! Cuuuuuuuute!! XD

I actually like the first few volumes of Usagi Drop... At least read the first two volumes (or 4 volumes)... I caution going further in case you whole-heartedly disagree with the way the mangaka ends the story... but the first 4 volumes revolve around childcare... Very heart-warming.

Kanata Kara! The relationship between the two protagonists is just so innocent and sweet!

You said you've read Aishiteruze Baby, but have you read MAKI Youko's other child-oriented manga, Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu? It fits what you're asking for pretty well. smile
