If anyone has seen the movie He's just not that into you than you'll have a better understanding of what I'm looking for. I just saw the movie for the umpteenth time, and I absolutely love Alex and Gigi. That's the sort of couple I want to read about.

Ideally what I'm looking for is -
Completely scanlated
Romance
Light Comedy
Drama
A Cute/Embarrassing confession

Male lead is:
- Playboy (thinks and treats woman like they are expendable)
- Very experienced in dating (not love though)
- Mentor to Female lead (About dating)
- Charming
- A jerk, but more in a loveable blunt/cruel way.
- Hits him like a truck when he comes to realize he loves the female lead and messes up his "coolness" (since he has no experience in love)

Female lead is:
- Obsessive type (borderline stalker or an actual stalker)
- Tries to much in searching for love. (So much that it drives men away)
- Does embarrassing stuff without feeling embarrassed about it (like it doesn't occur to her it's embarrassing.)
- Cheerful most of the time
*Note: Although inexperienced in dating/love wouldn't do something like ending a friendship for a boyfriend.

Now I know that's a big list ... and the chances of finding a manga that has all that .. are probably slim ...

So here's the things that I mainly care about from the above:
Romance
Not normal Female lead
Likable Playboy/Jerk lead.

eek I made another long post. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for the recommendations you may suggest. biggrin
Oh, and before anyone suggests Mairunovich as that did remind me a bit of what I'm looking for (minus the playboy/jerk thing). I did drop it because I didn't like how stupid the female lead was turning because of "love".

Sidenote- I know there's a book the movie is based off of, but I don't want to read it. I heard the book is better than the movie, and I don't want to ruin the movie for me. It happened with the Wedding Date. Liked the movie, read the book, then didn't like the movie as much.

Maybe Ore ga Doutei o Sutetara Shinu Ken ni Tsuite? I haven't read it yet myself, but it may fit your requirements.

You have a lot of lists. Perhaps there should be a maximum list prerequisite before you are allowed to ask for more recommendations. bigrazz

I was thinking how do you know of that manga if you haven't read it, but I think you double your reading list as a wish list. So it's probably something that grabbed your interest. Which it's grabbing mine too, but I think I'll wait a bit for a few more chapters.

>.< I know, I know. I have a lot of lists ... and things on them >.> since I'm not that picky about what to read (when I'm not in a certain mood for something) I'm open to anything and everything.
Since there's so many things to choose from I take recommended manga as a high priority of "read this next"

Thank you for the reply sunder. biggrin

Doesn't really work. MC used to be a playboy in his past life but is desperately trying to reform to change his future. Plus, there isn't a single female lead, much less a stalkery one (he's actually the one more into creeper territory). Worth reading though and it's probably close to the tone you're looking for.

Just how in the hell are there so many womanizers in yaoi? On second thought, I don't want to know.

Maybe High School Debut?

I haven't read it yet, but based on the summary it might have some of the things your looking for.

Maybe this is wut you're looking for..

Ongoing
Komomo Confiserie
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji (Soon to be adapted into an anime)

Complete
Ore ga Akuma de, Aitsu ga Yome de
Reimei no Arcana
Rensou Mode

I actually want to recommend more than this but I doubt you're gonna like it due to some circumstances so that's it from me, hope you like it.

sunder - Glad you gave a suggestion instead of just that link.

RockoDyne - To answer your question.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Sometimes a straight guy who fools around with woman falls for a guy. Then it turns into a yaoi ... I mean there's other variations as to why that tag is with a yaoi, but they mainly are along those lines.

I have read High School Debut, and it is somewhat along the lines of what I'm looking for, At least the mentoring part, but I wouldn't call the male lead a jerk, heh.
You should read it though. I found the female lead refreshing, and the ending was satisfying enough. Oh, and a decent read.
Thank you for the suggestion. biggrin

What circumstances?

Read Ore ga Akuma de, Aitsu ga Yome de and Rensou Mode which ... the male lead in Rensou Mode isn't a jerk or playboy O.o (I had liked them both)
Reimei no Arcana is already on my reading list.
The other two seem interesting. Thanks a lot.
