I'm looking for manga where the characters age gradually, but subtly.

There are a lot of manga where the characters don't age at all. Sometimes the manga could be publishing for years, and the characters are still the same age they were when the manga began.

Then there are manga where character age progression is done through cop-out methods. Sometimes it's a timeskip, where everybody's suddenly older in the next chapter. Other times, it's through an epilogue at the final chapter.

The above two are things that I am not looking for.

I'm looking for something where characters do age, but it's done slowly over the course of the manga's publishing. So the characters should see gradual changes in their lives, but it doesn't hit them head-on.

An example I can think of is Kimi no Iru Machi.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The characters start in high school, then they move up grades, go to university, get jobs, and start families.
The story isn't directly about them aging, but it's something that happens to be included.

As for genre, it doesn't matter too much, although I think Slice of Life would suit my request quite well.

My Girl (SAHARA Mizu) - Child ages
3-gatsu no lion - this one is very subtle, and it could even just be a slight adjustment of art style for a manga that's been running for ten years but I believe the artist is making the MC look more mature as he grows up and gains confidence throughout the series
Hikaru no Go - MC ages throughout the series noticeably

We have the Age Progression tag (the amount of badly categorized hentai collections is worrying) but basically any high school manga is a coup out, as long running ones go through grade 10 to 12 by nature. Aging by up to 3 year is also nothing.

A quick selection of ones that weren´t mentioned. None rely on time skips too much, as at least one period advances gradually:

20 Seiki Shounen (goes on linearly after the 1st time skip) and to a lesser degree Billy Bat
Akage no Anne
Aoi Honoo
Ashita no Joe
Azumi
Baby Steps
Bakuman (goes on linearly after the 1st time skip)
Ballroom e Youkoso
Bara no Tame ni
Beck
Dr. Slump
Eden - It's an Endless World! (goes on linearly after the 1st time skip)
Gekiga Hyouryuu
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (FUJISAKI Ryu)
Hadashi no Gen
Hanzou no Mon
Hikari to Tomo ni...
Historie
Innocent (SAKAMOTO Shinichi)
Ja Ja Uma Grooming UP!
Kakukaku Shikajika
Kanojo ni Naru Hi (the time skip isn´t long and the covered portions are substantial)
Kaze Hikaru
Kemono no Souja (goes on linearly after the 1st time skip)
Kento Ankokuden Cestvs
Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni (the time skips are small)
Les Miserables (ARAI Takahiro) (goes on linearly after the 1st time skip)
Major
Real
Ryuu - Ron (the covered portions are substantial, despite a noticeable time skip)
Subaru + the sequel as the time skip isn´t too long
Yawara!
