Recommend 8 to 10 action manga if asked by a newbie:

For me I would recommend: Claymore, Gantz, Vinland Saga, Berserk, Ares, Deadman Wonderland, Naruto (w/o fillers) and Bleach (w/o fillers), Hunter X Hunter, Bio Meat.

Anywayz.... from those you listed, I like Vinland Saga the most.

A few have been previously listed, so just take it as me seconding them. I pretty much just grabbed random stuff off my list, but Black Lagoon is always my first thought when I think of action manga (I don't think mecha is nearly as impressive in manga form).
