Rurouni Kenshin he's pretty much invincible to me at least in his battousai form anyways
Yongbi the Invincible the name says it all
Beelzebub from what i read so far he's invincible
Gamaran new manga but main hero is unbeatable atm
Prince of Tennis DBZ in sports form...Ryoma barely loses though
Akagi invincible in mahjong...
Fist of the North Star main hero is a monster, beast...however u wanna call him
Trigun Humanoid Typhoon just doesnt lose..

Thanks fot the recs guys, but some are really iffy for what I'm looking for.
Gamaran for example, he hasn't lost yet, but he's been pretty mangeled and beat up.
i'm looking for a more untouchable kind of invincible.

And I would put my lists public, I just haven't found out how yet.
It must be pretty obvious how, but I haven't bothered looking.

log in then at the right menu look down at Members section then click on *My lists* then choose which list you want to make public. At the bottom of the list there's a question *is this list public* choose yes then update

Although it isn't quite standard, Cheeky Angel has 2 main characters who are awesome fighters.

and they know it, too.

I would suggest Gin-san from Gintama, when he's not acting like a fool no one can beat him, there are also other very strong characters. Also, no one can beat Belldandy from Ah my goddess. The other things I had in mind are already suggested.

maybe Akumetsu? Although technically they all die they are still invincible in a way.
the protagonist from Vinland Saga is pretty strong (if only he'd get out of his current emo mode)
and also Wolf Guy, definitely strong protagonist
and although a shoujo...Oresama Teacher

Quote from The Guy
Hey peeps, I'm currently looking for a nice action manga with an invincible main char.
I'm just sick of main characters getting their ass (can I say ass here?) kicked and on the brink of death suddenly becoming stronger (Bleach) or taking a few months to do some training to get stronger (also Bleach, but most battle manga in general).
I want him to be so strong, no one (or at least very, very few. like, two people few) has a snowball's chance in hell of beating em.

so a few examples are:
Id from ID
Majeh from King of Hell
Layfon from Koukaku no Regios
Whatsis face from Aiki
Alucard from Hellsing

So let's hear it.

Just to make sure, please no yaoi, shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, yuri or overly shoujo-ish shoujos and no josei except reall good ones. Although I doubt any of those genres have stories that meet the above terms.

You don't want someone invincible... you are tired of NONSENSE... come here The Guy, I will show you the awesomeness of Seinen.

Shin Angyo Onshi
Bio-Meat: Nectar
Threads of Time
CAT on hiatus, but a good read anyway...
Jackals
Burning Hell
Junk - Record of the Last Hero a shounen and as such, the first vol is kind of lame... but keep reading, it only gets better smile
Jack Frost

That should be enough to keep you busy (a couple are short, but you are not a manga hollow.... are you?)

Unfortunatly I've read almost all of the ones mentioned. (CAT being one of my favorites ever)
Though I haven't tried Bio-meat: Nectar Burning Hell Jack Frost and Junk - Record of the Last Hero. Those should keep me busy for some time.

@chaoswind
If by manga hollow you mean someone who limitlessly consumes manga, I kinda am.
If I like someting, I tend to marathon it in one night.

Invincible hm ..^^
maybe some of them are already mentioned :
Blood Lad -> really strong at the beginning but monsterlike later on
Replica -> almost invincible
Jackals -> he is strong at the beginning (well only 2 people actually defeated him^^)
Drifters -> same maker as hellsing and the MC´s are badass
Zombie Powder -> he has the highest bounty which exists ...
burning hell -> really short but 2 badass MC´s (from the makers of Shin Angyo Onshi )
arago -> gets badass power in the first few chapters and never lost (when i remember correctly)
Scuro -> strongest assasin
Dendrobates -> he never lost ..^^
Berserk -> well i think you know it
Hell Blade -> Jack the ripper must be badass
red raven -> an executioner (well he doenst look like one but the manga is good)
Chunchu -> he is called demon child and barely can die so ..
Rebirth -> only lost to a god so he is really strong^^
Red eyes -> most badass commander of all (well there are mecha suits ..but its good^^)
Clover -> the MC only loses few battles and he is really strong (maybe not what you are looking for)

Cadis Etrama Di Raizel "Rai" from Noblesse seems pretty invincible and Tatsuya Shiba from Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei I guess.

noblesse
Rurouni Kenshin
Koori no Mamono no Monogatari has some very slight boyxboy
gokusen
Kanata kara
superior she hides her strength for a lot of it but the others are very strong too.
Tokyo crazy paradise

Some of these aren't action mangas but they all have characters that fight really well and are hard to beat. For what you want I especially recommend noblesse.
