I'm trying to find mangas where the main character(s) has a big secret (e.g. can/can't use magic, wrong gender, etc) and they get into lots of tense and/or hilarious situations trying to keep people from finding out. Great characters, some romance, and a decent plot would also be nice. A few examples that I've liked:

Hana-Kimi
Power
Death Note
Full Moon wo Sagashite
La Corda D'Oro

Some of my favorites that don't fit into this category (just to give you a good idea of my tastes) are: Ouran High School Host Club; Hunter X Hunter; Special A; Nodame Cantabile; and Naruto.
