So I'm trying to get my friend like yaoi. The first manga I suggested to her was Cut and she loved it. So now she's asking for something as short as Cut with good plot. She's a starter so I don't wanna give her really smutty stuff. And I want the plot to be good. The reason she doesn't like yaoi is because she thinks yaoi is just guys confessing to eachother and then sleeping with eachother. So the main points:
-good plot
-short, not too short like 2 chapter but not too long either. Hmm 2 volume maximum.
-featuring one couple
-not too smutty but it doesn't have to be shounen ai

Well this is a bit picky but I want her to have a good start so yeah.

Seven Days ~ 2 Volumes long - it is a Shounen-Ai, but a serious must read!!!!!
Sweep! ~ I think I recommended this for another one of ur posts too... this is really good as far as having a plot and not being too hard core
Hurm... I don't think Lover's Doll and Love Neko are that bad but then again idk....
Lovers and Souls ~ Most of Miyamoto Kano's stuff isn't graphic at all but some say that her stuff is hard to follow with all of the different stories that link together.... however, Lovers and Souls can be read by itself and it won't cause any confusion. Sleeping Moon would be a good starter yaoi as well - great plot
Since she liked Cut then maybe Café Latte Rhapsody, Bond(z) and Just Around the Corner also by Kawai Touko would be something she likes as well

I will more than likely think of some more... but this is all I can come up with off the top of my head >.<
