Greetings fellow internet dwellers,
so far I have read round 200 titles over the years of all genres, yet I am currently searching for one (or more) pieces to make me happy. I am looking for some action/romance manga with: reasonable plot, at least some mature logic, smut is welcomed (if supported by developing romance and plot), dark or dramatic ambience (dont mind blood and violence). Absolutely NOT: stupid Comedy, Harem, Echi, yuri/yaoi and 12years old logic retarded characters.

To give you better idea of what am I looking for I present you some of the following mangas I read and found few flaws to my liking:

Until Death Do Us Part - would welcome something with bigger focus on the main romance, less hours of fight theorycrafting
Arachnid - begging was awesome, it felt like Leon (the movie), then turned into plotless stupid lolicon sh**. More romance with the dude assasin would be welcomed (thus completely different turn of events).
Immortal Rain - romance too subtle and not quite... outspoken.
Haou Airen - well its 1 purpose manga, without the smut focus and bit more logical plot would be awesome.
Midnight Secretary - liked the characters, with more serious plot and lil less smut could have been great.
Red River - quite too silly and one step away from harem, but liked the overall settings of manga. Could have been more serious, less cliché drama.

So obviously I am looking for some more mature romance with darker settings, I would love some assasin romance or simply something from underworld or dangerous environment; demons or vampires are also welcomed if reasonable and mature. ABSOLUTELY NOT stupid things like Vampire Knight, Black Bird and whatsoever. These makes me literally roll my eyes. I especially hate stupid/silly/childish characters + retarded plot. The smut is welcomed because I find it quite unbelievable for two romance characters with age over (lets say) 15 being in love for next several months/years and not fu***ing/not even kissing.

And well, thats about it. Show me your best dear Otakus, I'll be drolling

Do you have any lists you could make public? It would be a lot easier to recommend something if we knew what you have already read or which series you're following.

I think most josei manga have what you are looking for (I don't know about smut though).

Also, have you tried looking for mature romance manga by doing an advanced search?

Em... let's see:
Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Kindan no Koi de Ikou

To be honest, I'm not sure any of them meets all your criteria (action/romance/smut + plot), but you can pick for yourself. :S

Battle Angel Alita and sequel. Less on romance, more on action. Gory at times, but fantastic.

Hoshi no Samidare meets all your criteria

Basara - several huge steps up from Red River
Kanata Kara - has no smut but makes up for it everywhere else
Pairon - dangerous setting
Mars - not action but has a great story and character development

I'm guessing though that if you've read around 500 you've probably stumbled across these before. What Tripitaka said about making a list public would be helpful

Second Hoshi no Samidare and Kimi wa Pet is good too.

Also you might want to try:
Saver even though it doesn't have smut and the romance is kinda slow if I remember correctly (sorry ).
Tokyo Crazy Paradise has comedy sometime a little too much but it's just too funny. And it has blood and romance and yakuza.

Finished reading Hoshi no Samidare... well... where was the romance? At all?
Sayin "I love you" after 60 chapters rly doesnt do it for me, this shouldnt be in romance manga at all. (and the story over-all was so-so, big times reminding me of Future Diary, but just not that good).
Im was looking into other recomendations aswell but mostly not smutty/romance enough. I just dont find beliavable two romantic adult characters doing nothing for 300 chapters besides telling each other "i may like you" once at the end. Thats not how adult romance work
By all means I dont meant to be ungrateful, but I am rly looking for something to suit all my needs which can take time.
I liked Basara mostly, could have been more explict, but the storyline outcome at end killed it for me "hey we love each other and we could settle all this hassle by just talking it out; but meh, I have to kill you cause... I have to".

ah, the Ultimate Weapon (I met it by "Last love song on the world" some months ago) was pretty awesome manga, loved it, but still not exactly the focus on romance. Ah well it was, but this piece is... complicated But good one.
Elfen Lied was one of my first animes, later on read the manga too, awesome as well; not focused on romance aswell (it is yet, in twisted way).
Anyway gonna try hisui suggesitons now, some sound good. I also took up some time and created my reading and Complete list. Its far from finished, but to give the general idea (I was too lazy to sort stuff out, so reading list = dropped list)

P.S. Seriously isnt around any manga like Leon? All the assasins+romance manga turns into sh*t within few first chapters.
Edit: 20 pages of "Remote" just gave me cancer.
