I'm looking for mangas with the following scenario:
Protagonist is fighting > some side/random character dies > protagonist goes berserk/ becomes invencible
Male lead preferably.

Something along the lines of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu or even The Breaker sometimes.

Please don't link "category" searches.

For male lead Bleach but thats probably something you already know. Wolf guy - wolfen crest has that but it's definitely graphic...Himegami has that as well but it has a female lead.

Never heard of Himegami, is the gender bender a big part of the manga? Not a very big fan of Gender Bender...

Its just the protag cross dressing as her master when she fights
These don't fit what you want but they have over powered protags
Actually what you want is a berserk protag...
Anyway for an OP one you should check out
Id
Ubel Blatt
Beelzebub
Hayate no Gotoku! on the rare occasion Hayate gets pissed xD
Medaka Box
Psyren in later chapters
Superior
Mahou Sensei Negima! in later chapters
Hoshi no Samidare (the heroine here is OP but the protag becomes uber strong later on)
and the best for last!
Vampire Juujikai

I've read most of those, didn't know Medaka Box had that though, I thought it was just a random school comedy from the first chapters.
Going to check, Medaka Box and Vampire Juujikai, thanks.

well I don't know if you'll be able to fight multiple moments in one manga (can't have a whole cast get killed right?)
here is at least one such moment per manga:
Hellsing
Fairy Tail

well even if noone actually dies, read the first chapters of Yumekui Merry (especially first meeting with engi) one of my favourite berserk moments 🙂

I'm reading Fairy Tail and I've watched the Hellsing anime. As for Yumekui Merry, I hadn't even heard of it. I'll read that one when I have a chance.

I've read Zetman.

Aiki was interesting, love that author. I didn't really enjoy Noblesse, I felt like the protagonist was a bit too "mellow" I suppose? Maybe that changes after a few chapters, don't know.

As for Immortal Regis, I've actually read this manga a while ago, I tried the sequel but the first chapters felt like they didn't have anything to do with the first series.

Wolf Guy seconded seriously good story and it has the overpowered you're looking for I think.... a bit... graphic as they said though.

Weird nobody mentioned dragon ball. Its the most emblematic manga when it comes to rage->turn into power. For berserk protagonist, you also have evangelion in some scenes. Actually, the idea of turning the death or the pain of a loved one into a revenge based carnage its very mainstream nowadays. Even if the dying part doesn't fit, naruto and one piece also have scenes like that. Basically, you will find that situation in any manga where they use superpowers and the lead character it's hot-blooded. Though right now I can't think of any in which the whole manga is like that -as it would lose its appeal- you can find that scenario anywhere.

Was going to suggest Aiki, Noblesse and Vampire Juuji Kai. All of which, has an incredibly over powered main characters.

Depending on how far you've gotten in Noblesse, you might want to revisit it. It has a very interesting story, and if you like vampires and such, it's a something you definitely want to read.

Vampire Juuji Kai's main character is quite possibly the single most powerful person in it's universe, even his arch nemesis can be considered more or less weak in comparison with only one major advantage. Not to mention an INCREDIBLY awesome story.

I've seen & read Dragonball, same for Evengelion.

Immortal Rain
Rein (SUMIKAWA Megumi)
Jesus
Seimaden

Actually... I dunno. =/ But give it a try. Most that I can think of off the top of my head are mentioned already anyways.

There's King of Hell too, but I wouldn't recommend it. Has a pretty stupid story and neither is the art all that great, despite having an invincible main. Plus... I got a grudge on manhwas = =;;

I nth Noblesse It was a bit slow at beginning but then it gets EPIC, and by EPIC I mean REALLY EPIC 😀

Also Samurai Deeper Kyo as well. During the series he hasn't lost at once.
