Description

This was a very full of different emotions story. Even in the beginning, there is already much feelings running through my veins, there is quite a lot of sadness felt by both of the main characters. The story is always having some dramatic scene that turns everything upside down, though so dramatic, it is so fun and exhilarating to keep on reading. When put in family relations and connections here and there, the story gets more intense. Once both the two main leads grow further apart, it makes you wonder how will this story end with a happy note?(cause u know it ain't a tragedy genre story) How will both of them reconcile...it makes you wait and anticipate for the beautiful grand finale.

The good thing out of all the problems, is that they really do only love one another, that is the best part of the story. Read this accompanied with Sam Smith's Stay With Me song, for the parts where he lost her, is like adding oil to the already intensely burning fire. Other good parts was when she realized he is still and was always totally in love with her in vol.9 chap.2, chap.73 page 15 too was also great, all this scene is Jay knowing Jarte's love for her, cause i feel that she's always doubting his love, sigh, that's why i love it when she knows his true feelings for her. The last part of chapter 79 was totally da best! i think out of all manga/,manhwa history, it made my heart beat really fast the whole time, even when i look back at it again, it still made my heart flutter. The last few chapters when they finally got married already was quite hilarious, funny the whole time. Another good part was when Jarte trusted in her and gave her the documents regarding CEO Choi, cause trust is really hard to build after their horrific past. And haha Jarte that can sense his love near him is such an awesome lovely totally romantic sixth sense man! But amidst all that, one still wonder how big is their age gap?
Once I powered through the first 30 chapters, one dimesional story line, expressionless characters (the author put in the weirdest effects and drew the faces at the wrong times of speech) and bad setting drawings, it finally became a decent read. Then slowly I started to really love it
Once you get over the first 30 chapters it's really worth it and the isn't total crap either!!!! yay! It did have a TON of drama in it and it was like problem, after problem, after problem. I love the way Jay handled it

I like how they have an opportunity to separate for a bit. I think J got a little weird though.... I like myself a possessive lover, but he just got too weird and started to become like the love interest/rival from other manga/manhwa the guy that is obsessed with main girl and tries to steal her. but he never seems to succeed. nice twist to me

To much drama but not in bad way

So I've read this after putting it on hold for a long time and honestly saying, although it's a dark romance story, I feel kinda irritated with the characters. I repeat, not the story, but the characters. Especially the two main characters. I know Jay is a head strong person or whatever but the fact that she kept on backing out from her love for Jarte and hurting him makes no sense. It's like in the story, they get together then off then together again, like COME ON!! make up your mind!!
And then there's Jarte. Whatever that's going inside his mind is a mystery. The fact that he kept on doubting Jay's actions is tremendously stupid. Although half of the fault is Jay's but still! Especially this one scene (I won't give spoilers!) that I hated so much. But at least the ending is a happy one. I never cry reading this manga, maybe because I was pissed off the whole time I was reading it.

It seriously can't be that hard for two people who Love each other to be together. That was just ridiculous! All the trial and tribulations they faced really made me think if being together was worth it. I mean, it really shouldn't have been all that hard. Cinderella my ass! Cinderella didn't have to go through that much sh*t to be with her man smh
But Anyways, I liked the story besides all the unnecessary drama. The art was amazing!! Truly loved it and the story wasn't all that bad or "dark" either. Sure some of the drama and the psycho-ness could have been cut out, but it worked out in the end didn't it? lol

This manga was intense, such twisted love that I could not stop reading. Throughout the plot, they are driven mad with passion, lust and intensity that almost cannot be matched. This is completely a pshychological romance. The difference between giving this a ten is because they were missing abit of plot in the midst of intensity. But I didn't know if they should have or should have not ended up together throughout, as their passion was distroying them both, as well as others around them. I highly suggest this for people that enjoyed Kare Kano after the 1st half (dark), not the beginning . Though, I'll admit that this is even more intense.
However the story is, well... too much. I mean In 11 volumes you don't get a single break. It is overly dramatic on every point, and you feel like life itself has something against them. But the story is very well depicted, the characters are mostly believable, the art is good, and the romance is also well done. So more than a 8.5, but i couldn't give it a 9 since the pace is way too fast. No transition chapters, it feels like everything just falls down on them. And I didn't like that.
This story put me through one whole lot of turmoil, except for the starting part though.

Well, the start looked very promising, but it went down-hill fast.
But if you like this kind of confusing love-hate relationship the mains have going on throughout the whole series and enjoy a somewhat irrational plot you should love this.

It quickly turned into something like a reverse harem (yes, every single dangerous guy she meets falls for her). The italian mafia is after her, the male lead's unknown half-brother is after her... There are things like a 12-year old attendant of a prince - and yes, there is a prince of a small european country who of course is handsome and very very smart. The main girl is described as a "plain girl", which will make almost every female reader feel bad (if she's plain I can just go shoot myself haha).

But if you like this kind of confusing love-hate relationship the mains have going on throughout the whole series and enjoy a somewhat irrational plot you should love this.

the first thing I remember though after 10hrs was..what the hell..when they finally had sex I was thinking yes! but all I saw the next few pages were FLOWERS. Anyway by the time we got to volume 9 it was pure comedy I tell you!!! the spanking incident was gem!!
But to be truly honnest, despite the great plot that it was..the way it progressed was such a drag. It was a bit frustrating cause disaster kept piling up on top of the other. Sometimes, the key into keeping a reader interested especially when it's this long is so spunk it up. I mean, loose it up a bit and give us happy moments that over shadow the sad ones. Sure, it's cute when they argue whenever they're together but..one day J's some cold-hearted bastard and the next he's not. Not that, it's not an appealing character..cold aloof but sweet and tender blabla but the sudden switches were a bit off. With every page I turned, I'd start to read it faster cause I wanna get to the bottom of everything. I had wanted to "savour" the manga and enjoy every chapter.. but the way the plot progressed it was impossible.
Also, the more possessive J became the more I felt like it was purely obsession. If you've read Kare Kano, I think you'd kind of understand where I'm getting at. Not trusting, entirely controling the person you "claim" to love..and to add up it wasn't "the" J anymore at that time. THOUGH, I'm really glad that at the end Jay did that whole "trust" test. But why did it have to be in the very end? I was dying to just seperate them and let them have another years apart!
The most frustrating thing was how it ended just like that!! SURE, it was a happy ending. But come on, give us something more to rejoice with! That was long endurance there and it just ends with "I love you" "I love you too" BLAAHH. And sure the extra was nice, fluffy and made me all jiggery..but what's the point of mentioning babies when they dont show one in the end?? :/ Over all, I was just unsatisfied with how it ended. I wanted a glance of their family life..everything! Maybe the author got tired and just wanted to hurry up and end it but you gotta make sure to satisfy your fans!
Regardless of all my complaints, I still can't bring myself to hate this since it made me cry A LOT. And stories that move me are always worth under the "like" category. Even though I had wishes of changes from here and there, I'm still glad they lived "happy ever after". Still not the BEST for me though so I'm giving it an 8.
