Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for Japanese seinen/josei manga that has yet to be scanlated, and is currently unlicensed, though we will accept more mature shounen/shoujo. We'd prefer something with a fantasy or horror genre -- just something out of the norm of real life. We pretty much won't scanlate for manga with bad art, so "pretty" manga would be good. Examples would be Amagoi (raws were taken down), and +C: Sword and Cornett (already being scanlated though).

As for shoujo/shounen ai, I don't want to rule them out because though some people may be iffy about the genre, I'm sure there are gems out there waiting to be scanlated. So if you feel that it's something really good, please suggest it. If there is shoujo/shounen ai, it'd be preferred if it was more of a sub-genre, rather than the main focus of the story.

Oh yeah, and this might be a bit much work but if you know the status of the raws for the manga suggested, please tell us! We need raws already uploaded on the Internet so that we can scanlate it. Thanks a bunch.

A good manga would be iketeru futari 5 volumes have already been scanlated but there are still about 27 more to go and it hasnt been updated for about a year its really great romantic comedy and its mature the arts pretty good as well.

How about Rasetsu no Hana, although it was labeled as shoujo, it does have kinda josei-ish female lead, it's a horror comedy though, and the only reason i'm suggesting it was cuz it was dropped by Aerandria and i've read it until chapter 9 and it totally bugs me that couldn't finish reading it haha... sorry if it's not what you looking for

Propeller Heaven - I've seen a scanned page of this, so I assume raws are somewhere.
These are both by the guy who did Alien Nine and Milk Closet, so they definitely fit into 'out of the norm of everyday life'.

Nanika Mochigatte masu ka - I don't know anything about this except an offhand comment by Hox that it's along the normal lines of the mangaka - so, Narutaru/Bokurano-like.

There are some, even if they are not fantasy or supernatural I think you may like them.

Ai to Yokubou no Rasen there's no summary on MU, but it's a highly controversial story about two twins whose father remarries, and one of them forces his new stepsister into a sexual relationship. There's actually a prequel to the story about the twins' childhood drama. It deals with obsessions, so the mood is really dark and there are some horror elements as well. The smut is A LOT, but despite that the plot is not really superficial. Slightly shounen-ai (nothing explicit). Art is ok, the characters are quite slender though.
All volumes are available HQ/MQ on the internet, except for the last one which I only saw LQ

I was wondering about that myself. There's also a couple of josei + shounen-ai I wanted to suggest - not explicit and barely noticeable; but you might be opposed to it, so please let us know if you are!

I have another suggestion ; Elixir - A mature shoujo (well, it's not childish, anyway) ; raws available.

I second Kokushi no Shima , Choushuu Five and Mr. Fredward's Duck

Master Keaton by KATSUSHIKA Hokusei and URASAWA Naoki. I can pm you the complete raws. Because of the conflict over the creator, it's not likely to get licensed

Taimashin is another great manga. The publisher went out of bussiness a long time ago, so no worries there. But I can only find the Korean raws for this- I'll let you know if I can find the Japanese ones.

As for shounen-ai + shoujo, there's Yami no Kodou - the group scanning this is contemplating dropping it. I'm sure they won't mind if you pick it up. They can tell you where to find the raws, too.
