Hi people! So just like the name of this topic says im looking for a manga with not only a good storyline but also a main character i can fall in love with (not in a romantic way of course ;P ), they can be ether a male or a female, preferably a teenager, and please NO yuri, yaoi, mary-sues or whatever the male equivalent of a mary-sue is (is there even a name for that?).
Anyway I personaly like some action or adventure in my manga along with a little romance.
So thanks a ton for any suggestions you might have!!!

Some Charaters I Like:

Ichigo Kurosaki - Bleach (one word BADASS!!)
Sora - Kingdom Hearts <3 (love the game!!!)
Tsukasa Kozuki - Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Uru - Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume (shes such a cutie with her inhuman strength :3 )
The Straw-Hat Crew - One Piece

I'd say Trinity Blood or Alive. :] (I personally love the main characters of Trinity Blood, and Alive also has some likable characters. ;])

Angel Beats--best anime of the 2010 spring season

I'm not sure what you want but i'll list my fav action-romance manga...

mayb superior, ,Akagami no Shirayukihime,...i like the character of main girl in this manga and they got some action

Oresama Teacher- both character are nice and both can fight well but its more towards student-teacher relationship, no action

dengeki daisy - i like the main character guy, but no action coz this guy is more to a hacker

Ludwig Kakumei - pretty unique and has adventure

HunterXHunter -- just because it's my favorite manga. The official main character is Gon, but the series seems to revolves around the foursome established during the first arc (admittedly, Leorio seems to be a nonentity). While I'm honestly not too keen on Gon himself, Killua is the best character of all time. Kurapica also has his fair share of fan as well. But seriously, Killua is freaking awesome. I squeal a little bit every time he does or says something.
Hikaru no Go -- so Hikaru is just a fabulous character all around. He is defnitely on my favorites list because he has a wonderful personality (and character design). I know Sai also has a very large an obsessive fan base so you may like him a well (though I've always been more of a Hikaru fan).
Soul Eater -- again, this series has several main characters so there's quite a few to choose from. I'm a Soul, Maka, and Kid fan myself. Although the first few chapters did not particularly draw me in, I perservered and really got into it and before I knew it, I was at the end of the current chapters! However, even aside from the main cast, there's a ton of smaller side characters that I really love as well, such as Kilik (who is too damn awesome to be a side character) and even dorky Ox grew on me. I even like some of the antagonist witches like Medusa.
D.Gray-man -- to be honest, the series has gone down hill recently, but that may be due to all the focus on Kanda in the recent chapters (who is not the main character). Allen (who is the main character) is practically the only reason I read this series, just because I completey fell in love with him. He's not half as awesome and adorable as Killua, but he's charming in his own way XD

Sorry for reccomending such mainsream manga, but hey, they're popular for a reason! And male Mary Sues are called "Gary Stu" usually... just so you know XD

I was always curious what they're called! and thanks for the reccomendations i haven't read Soul Eater or HunterXHunter before so i'll definitly give them a try!
