Yeah, I just read Book One of His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. And oh god it was ah-mazing.

I liked the idea of daemons.

I was wondering if there is a manga something like it. One with daemons as human companions.

Must be adventure I guess. Fighting is a plus; nothing too gory and visual.

Heck, might not even be daemons.

So long as they are animals/aliens/dolls/spirits they fit. But preferably animals who can shapeshift.

Should always be with a human and all humans have one.

I know this may be a hard request so to all those who will recommend, Thank you lots!

the closest one i know is Zero no Tsukaima
every noble(mage) has to summon a familiar. The main character is the only human one

Soul Eater - kind of, all the kids have partners that turn into their weapon
Erementar Gerad - same idea but completely different way of portraying it
Also try the Sentient Weapon tag

Narutaru is the only thing that comes to mind, and it doesn't fit all that well. The 'shadow dragons' are linked to only certain people (most of the main characters have one), and the gore is extreme.

Hoshi no samidare fits perfectly Ga-rei sorta fits with links between some of the characters and other beings. Kekkaishi eventually gets there for some of the characters, but it is in no way the focus like in the 2 others. Sekirei is Ashakabi to sekirei but the relationship is pretty much the same (cept not everyone are ashakabis and one ashakabi can have several sekireis), and ofc the fact that the sekirei are very much like humans.

It should be said though, that if you just read book 1, you might want to read book 2 and 3 if you liked it wink.
