I'm looking for 'life swap' stories - in manga, anime, books, comics, movies or TV series. NOT a 'body swap' or 'sex swap', but a full-on 'life swap', where one character takes over someone's identity and lives their lives, possibly with the other person living the protagonist's life, in return. (Although the return scenario is not necessary.)
This is NOT the same as living under a fake identity that never really belonged to anyone, anyway... So no situations like Penguin Revolution, where the heroine disguises herself as a random guy and lives like one. No, it has to be living AN ACTUAL PERSON'S LIFE, a whole other actual person, who was living their own life until now - until the protagonist took over their identity and their life. For whatever reason.
NO BODY SWAPS, PLEASE! So nothing like My Barbaric Girlfriend or Return. Not someone in someone else's body, but in their own body, impersonating someone else.
Examples: Savage Garden and The Prince and the Pauper. In both cases, the protagonist swaps lives with someone else - in the first, that other person is dead (so they can't swap back), but in the second, the swap is complete. Both count in their own ways.

On a different note, Parent Trap fits exactly. It's a movie though. You've probably watched it before
