So yeah, please recommend your fav psychological ones, the longer the better and maybe with a few horror + mystery element in it as well :3 But I'll take what I can get.

But I do have a specific psychological element I'm looking for.... Something like Count Cain series and Yami wa Tsudou where maybe due to shock or something the protagonist is not seeing the whole picture of the problem. To illustrate better I'll use an example. Like in the beginning of a series the protagonist is depressed because his girlfriend isn't talking to him because he made a mistake and messed up their relationship (his point of view). But then through a series of events like nightmare or observation etc he realized he is actually dead, so of course the reason he couldn't talk to his girlfriend was she can't see him and he is still lingering because he wants to apologize. So you see I want the main progagonist to not see the whole situation until later/end of the story. It doesn't have to be like the main guy's point of view but say from a person that can see spirit and help him (but of course, he doesn't know till later too). And even though this illustration uses ghosts I'd prefer it not to include any bigrazz

So yeah... no Hentai or BL plz and thanks again >.<

Selected Pandemonium Related series of suspense/horror/ghost stories
Sugiru Juunana no Haru 2 volume suspense/horror story

Oops, sorry didn't read the 'prefer not ghost' note. I'll have to think a little further on this now
...
Okay, these are oneshots, but they're quite satisfying.
Nakamura Asumiko writes a couple of shorts that fall into 'psychological'
The Bedroom Girl, The Sculpture Room Girl,
B&W
and I also rec I am a Piano, just for a bit of something different.

I'll try to think of something longer too...

good ones you havent read:
death note-brilliant
watch the code geass anime...especially the second season(r2) its amazing
flowers of evil-unlike the 2 above, this isnt only a good psychological manga but it also fits your request perfectly...at the beginning you'll think that A loves B,but halfway through you'll see how the mangaka brilliantly misled you to believe that, very unpredictable!
if you want to destroy the world also fits your request..somewhat...again,very unpredictable
you also havent read mirai nikki...very entertaining and i loved the romance xD
edit:mirai nikki fits everything you asked for in your description, one of them is already dead..read to know who wink

FUJIWARA Kaoru's works, like;
Omae ga Sekai wo Kowashitai nara
Kindai Renai
Fetish

MIHARA Mitsukazu's works like;
Beautiful People
DOLL: IC in a Doll

Helter Skelter is one of my absolute favourites also, really great psychological manga! Not so much on the shock twist factor though, but I feel it really questions modern society values; really makes you think!

Kyoushashou would be a good pick as a Oneshot where the protagonist doesn't see the entire picture until the end.

Code Geass (anime) is a good psychological one, my favorite.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (anime)

For the specific type you're looking for, I recommend Zoo (Novel). There are multiple stories like that in there, like:

Zoo - a man receives photos of his girlfriend's decomposing corpse every day in the mail. He resolves to find the one responsible.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's revealed that he himself is the one who killed her.

Wardrobe - a murder mystery about a body hidden in a wardrobe, with the killer being the protagonist.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The story is written vaguely enough that you don't realize until the end that the killer is actually someone else.

Find the Blood! - an old man who's unable to feel pain wakes up to find a knife in his back and his death approaching. His two sons and wife try to find the bag of blood needed for a quick transfusion.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Eh...hard to explain, but yeah, it fits what you want.

Words of God - a boy's words can turn into reality, and he uses his power for his own selfish reasons.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He kills nearly everyone on the planet, finds that he can't live in this kind of world, so he uses his power on himself so that he's under the illusion that it never happened, that he's still living in a world where everyone is alive.

Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan Totteoki no Uso kinda fits what you're looking for. The protagonist (Mii-kun) is fully aware of what's going on, but since he's a compulsive liar and the narration is sort of vauge, the readers do not. But I think the other main character, Maa-chan, fits what you're looking for. (Don't wanna spoil anything though!) Also, for a story with such a dark premise, it's surprisingly heart-warming. But I guess that depends on your tastes.
