Hey guys, i'm new here, and i've just recently started getting into mangas.
i'm currently looking for a romance anime where the male lead gets rejected after he confesses to his crush or a girl he likes, then the girl regrets it or starts having feelings for him after she rejects him.

Thank you very much, any help is very apperciated wink

P.S, Romance doesn't have to be the focus of the manga, action/horror/martial arts etc etc anything is fine, it just has to have a romantic subplot.

Try Suzuka and the author's other works.
Just keep in mind that there's a lot of rejection and progress is slow.
On the up side the manga is completed, and there is even a sequel.
The manga has also been animated into 26 episodes I believe.

You can also try searching by categories:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Male+Lead +Falling+in+Love+First

You would be surprised how fast you can stumble upon something you like.
Most manga works of the same genre tend to have many, many similarities.

edit : I think GE - Good Ending also has something like this, but i'm not sure since i stopped reading it several months ago.

edit no.02 : you want anime. Hanasaku Iroha and Amagami (first arc Haruka senpai ). Kimikiss has this too if i remember. B Gata H Kei , and Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi.

Thanks, added those 2 mangas to bookmark.
i'll try Hanasuka Iroha (i heard there's only girls though), and Amagami.

Obviously, since 'anime' and 'manga' are not synonymous.

For an anime, I would suggest ef - a tale of memories.; as for manga, there are Ichigo 100%, though you would have to wait a little while for the rejection, and Love Hina.

Moe Kare!! and maybe Kare wa Tomodachi - they are both shoujo, but since you said you're pretty much okay with it...enjoy your reads bigrazz
EDIT: also Hana Yori Dango - same as above, it's a shoujo, but I think it's one of the best shoujo manga out there. hope you'll enjoy biggrin
and maybe Peach Girl, I haven't read it myself, but from what I heard it also fits.
sorry they are all shoujo, hope you'll enjoy them even though they might not be your genre roll eyes
