The condition being that the main character can interact with girls, even doing nice things for them, without them falling in love with him (or even hinting at it). The perfect example would be
Silver Spoon. This means:

-No harem; by harem I mean more than two girls who like the main character, even if they are never considered as possible love interests (Sword Art Online is harem in my book);
-If there isn't a love triangle, all the better; if there is, two boys/one girl or two girls/one boy, or even both at the same time, it's fine as long as there's no big drama involved; and I want the protagonist to know from the start who he likes (or never changing his mind from the moment he begins to like someone) (I don't really mind for the female lead);
-I'd prefer no Ecchi (at least not too much)
-No incest

I'm kinda bored by the fact that every single girl that meets the hero falls for him. Thank you for the help!

Bakuman and FMA don''t really have too many romance either. In fact, I think Sket Dance did its subtle romance development much better than the other 2.

Yes, I know what you mean. I wrote about Bakuman and FMA because there are a lot of interactions like the one I described, and romance ends up somewhere. Plus FMA is not slice of life.
I don't really mind if there isn't a lot of romance as long as the story is good, and I do have Sket Dance in my wish list. I didn't choose Koe no Katachi and Bonnouji as examples because there aren't enough characters for this kind of situation (yet). Thank you for your suggestions, I'll also check the research link
