So far all the mangas I have read all set in Japan, China, Korean, other Asian country! Well, basically, I feel like I'm familiar with their culture and at the same time, tired of seeing the same culture again and again. Therefore I want to try something different and I decide I want to read a manga with "different" culture and take place in Europe, America, anywhere that is not in Asia. Some example might be Black Butler, Berserk, Pandora Hearts and Vinland Saga.So please recommend me some mangas!! Thanks!! biggrin Oh! and I don't mind if the protagonist is Asian, but try to find a foreign protagonist.

P.S. I get a feeling this post may sounds racist, so sorry if I offend some people. I'm Asian anyway so I'm pretty much faaaaamiliar with all the Asian cultures that I just want to see different culture for the change. Beside I always wanted travel around the world experiencing new things... So why not learn some from mangas for now XD

Green Blood - Reminded me of Gangs of New York.

Otoyomegatari - Set somewhere in the middle east I think.

Magi - Kinda mix between fantasy/reality, but I think the towns are heavily based on Middle east.

Peace Maker - Kinda like a western (cow boys and stuff), haven't read much into it though.

Historie - if you liked Vinland Saga you may like this, it follows the protagonist through childhood till adulthood, and he really smart and quite strong too, not as reckless as Thorfinn though.

Kento Ankokuden Cestvs - Set in ancient Rome or somewhere, has gladiator boxing

Banana Fish - You may find the art outdated, but give it a go.

Anatolia Story - set in the Hittite empire around 500 B.C..

Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru - Set in America.

[m]D Gray Man[/m] - england
Gunka no Balzer - european
God Child and some other Yuki Kaori works
Hellsing - victorian enland

I second Magi and I add these:

Soul Eater is set in the southwestern United States and the protagonist's Japanese American. It's one of those shonen series, like Naruto, Bleach, and such.

Blaster Knuckle is set in the southern United States and the protagonist's African American. I thought it was a really fun read. It reminds me of blaxpoitation films.

Jade is set in Europe and the protagonist's European. It's a shojo adventure. I thought it was another fun read.

Thomas no Shinzou is set in Germany and the protagonist's Italian and German. It's BL.

I've only seen the anime of Uchuu Kyoudai, but in the anime, the setting changes often from Japan to the USA to Russia to space. The protagonist's Japanese. It's a sci-fi, slice of life seinen series.

Black Lagoon takes place somewhere in the South China Sea, but it has a very multi-cultural cast.
Eden - It's an Endless World! takes place in some future version of South America. Drug cartels still run things though.
Appleseed Masamune Shirow abandoned this for Ghost in the Shell. I like GitS, but I prefer this. Takes place in post apocalyptic Europe.
GUNNM yet another story set in the far future. Maps have placed the scrapyard somewhere in the midwest US. Don't expect anything remotely familiar though. Aside from a bar called Kansas, that is.
Fullmetal Alchemist alternate reality early 20th Century Central Europe.
Trigun Maximum PLANET Gunsmoke
Gunslinger Girl Aside from the cyborg assassins, it's modern day Italy.
Pumpkin Scissors made up place with a strong European flavor.
Soul Eater a highly fictionalized Sonoran Desert. I think. Somewhere out there in the Southwest.
Gunsmith Cats Chicago

Beck After their first big concert, they spend a few volumes touring the US. Then they do a music festival in, I want to say England. It's been a long time since I read it.

Me and the Devil Blues This one. Remembered the name.
