The stories you are quite dark & ecchi (with exception of Rosario to Vampire being more comedic than dark). Hmmm..... how about Shinrei Tantei Yakumo(no ecchi stuff but quite dark), Psychometrer Eiji, Ubel Blatt, Taboo-Tattoo, Psyren and some other stuff I can't quite rem...

Rather than saying you don't want them human-like, you actually mean that they have distinctive features that you can use to go "that person is not human", right?
Anyway, I guess superior kinda fits? Maybe? Though it is quite fantasy/adventure.

I think it is best to read the Light Novel though. Baka-tsuki has translated it to quite far. English versions of the manga are very little actually

Yeah, I am fast cause I always give my full attention to all manga I read. Although, I skip the boring re-introductions that occur at the start of some chapters.

As the title says, I am looking for a manga about a guy who made a doll/figurine from a material that his sensei (teacher) gave him. That material allows the figurine to move. Or that is how I remember it. Know what the manga is called.

Maybe... Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero!. It is quite close to what you are looking for. And I just recommend Joshi Mousou Shoukougun as it is quite a comedic romance, but not really much cross-dressing
