I'm looking for a seinen that deals with the future (time traveler or native), perhaps a post-apocalyptic world, or cyberpunk.
Some great examples would be Blame!, Sidonia no Kishi and Abara (all by the same author, just noticed this)

I'm looking for a seinen that deals with the future (time traveler or native), perhaps a post-apocalyptic world, or cyberpunk.

Um no one suggested BECK. It's a nice one, tho has Drama tag, it's nothing that will move you to tears. Pretty funny and realistic view on becoming an Indie star in Japan's show business. Also has romance and obviously comedy content.
