I don't often read a manga series based on people's reviews, but since everyone had given Totally Captivated some great comments, I decided to give it a go. I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The art is gorgeous, the characters are interesting and complex and the storyline is a lot more interesting than the summary gives it credit. I've never been into manhwa before, but this one made a really big impression on me. Can't wait to read more. ^_^

Well unlike many yaoi titles Totally Captivated looks like a cliche plot, but be aware it is not at all. It is unexpectedly a more complex and new kind of humorous and angsty kind of feel to it, and mixed into it just the right amount. Nonetheleness the characters have each their own personality, charisma, and the style in which they are drawn seems seemingless but alas they are gorgeous pieces on their own! Mookyul and Ewon are both unique to the genre for me as of now.. The first time i read the summary i was hesitant, but to my amazement the first volume got me hooked, and now i can't just stop reading it! I can seriously say i can read it daily and i won't get bored, it has a bit of everything and that makes it a master piece .. I never thought i would say this, or actually choose, but Totally Captivated is my favorite yaoi manhwa and i don't think it will ever change.. so i recommend it completely.

This is probably my favorite manga...as I read on I found myself wanting to read more and more...surely Mookyul did Ewon wrong but at the end of the manga it's absolutely breathtaking...to me IT'S A MUST READ manga

Good art, plot, characters, flow and humor. This isn't your average yaoi manga, its story and side characters are just as interesting as the romance between the two main characters. When it comes to yaoi manga, this is one of the best!

I must say when I read the summary I was uninterested straight away, the only reason I got into reading this manhwa was because I had some time on my hands and was foraging for something to read. I was expecting something much less interesting, instead I found one of the best yaoi stories I've read so far. I am incredibly happy that I found this manhwa, sometimes I how much I would've missed out on if I didn't give this a try *shivers*. I recommend this as I love it's detailed art work and the effort put behind all the plot lines and the characters, all the work the author put in is clearly visible in the quality of the art and story.

For me, at first glance this manwha didn't appeal to me at all; the art did not look all that appealing, and the storyline seemed cliche (An innocent guy getting caught up with a fearless gang and it's leader? SNORE); Not something that I'd usually read. But I gave it a chance anyway.

But instead what I got was an intricate, complicated storyline, character development that made me feel for the characters, EXCELLENT seamless translation that was an enormous joy to read (I LOVE YOU NET COMICS), and art that was, well... better than most I've read.

This manwha is another reason why you should absolutely not judge a book by it's cover.

For me, this is by far one of the best mangas I've ever read-yaoi or not. The artwork is amazing, storyline is fantastic, characters lovable and hot. Its at the top of my list along with skip beat, ghost hunt, midnight secretary, and cat street. Its a rare find!!

This is one of the best manga's that I have ever read. I'm already reading it for the second time and it's just as entertaining as the first time.

It's so cute!! I absolutely adore it. it's romantic at times but comical too!! The gangster hottie is a player but his lover is also sort of one. this story made my heart flutter!! i love every moment of it!! i wish mookyul would just admit it...=pp man i would love him to be my man. Even if I were a man I would love for him to be my man!

... i've read many different yaoi series till now... like i mean, hundreds.

but this is my favorite EVER.

love it. plot, amazing. characters, drop dead gorgeous who are in character the whole manga..

i could go on and on forever. it's such a shame that you can't understand the complexity of the characters and the plot without having a korean background.. and the jokes sound strange in translation.. (i'm guessing that's what happened to those who rated it low.)

but i have faith that the sheer greatness of the manga will carry on through the language barrier atleast a bit. which is enough. =]
