A good romance with a twist

I really enjoyed the plot, but I'm not sure how I feel about the twist at the end, or how it finished in general. I did like how the story tried not to follow tropes and had good emotional scenes.

Wonderful genre-mashup.

I really loved this story, but I feel like a few reviews here didn't give the story enough credit. Without spoiling anything, a major theme of the manhwa is the multitude of ways love stories can go - hopeful or hopeless, bittersweet or straight-up sweet, straightforward or convoluted, etc.
How does the author show this? By switching genres mid-story, multiple times. That isn't remarkable by itself; but it's remarkable that he makes it work, and work well.

WTF I just read?! Don't Spoil the Story by Reading the Tags!!!

So cutting it short, if you want to read this webtoon and are not someone with a genius perception for speculation who can deduce the story by the categories/tags and genres mention in this series page... than you are going to feel just like what I wrote in this comment title, but of course in a good way.
I don't want spoil, so I'll just say that this webtoon could be a masterpiece depending on who reads it, it's such an unpredictable roller-coaster, something you really wouldn't expect from the description(yeah it's small but when you read you'll understand what I mean).
If you are interested in dropping your jaw when you finish reading something, than Melo Holic is really fit for you.
Only downsize is the art, I never understand how stories like this don't have mangakas drawing manga or manhwa for them...
Dismiss the comments below saying the story was predictable, they either like to be nonconformists or didn't really get what fate is.

I added the "horror" on genre of this page b/c no body told me, omfg I'm scared to hell how am i going to sleep

well, so the story is amazing, super funny then it gets horrifying.
there is a lot of twists and turns and it really sucks you right in.
I really can't stand horror stories but I still lasted till ch. 62 before I had to ask my friend to read till the same chapter so we can finish it together... because I really need to know the ending ><;;;

I didn't read the tags when i chose to read this webtoon... I was in for a huge shock somewhere around the latter half of the manwha LOL

anyhow, it's a brilliantly written series that I somehow always end up pondering about while walking home...

Good, but not amazing

People rave about this, but I don't find it especially amazing.. rather on the average side.

PROS:
- Has some good suspense moments
- A few good twists

CONS:
- Romance was too fast.. I didn't feel anything for the main couple.
- Characters weren't all that likeable.. I wasn't fond of any of the characters. The gym teacher was alright though.
- Turns more and more cliche, especially the ending. Very unsatisfying imo... It was also quite predictable.
- Average art

Overall, the cons outweigh the pros, and it was disappointing given all the rave. It's an alright manhwa, just not amazing unless you're 100% new to the mystery/psychological genre.

Okay...
The first thing is It's totally Awesome ...
The Ones who are taking shit about it are the - Bitchës, Who just don't got the Fück (basically)...

Now The Review ~

For me this is a good ending...
I want to make my self believe that or I gonna feel empty for a few days...believe at the end when he open the door he saw her sit on the bed and watching him with a smile and teary eye...and he become quiet shock and then he know this is not a dream...the last smile he show us is the pure smile that full of happiness...why would the author use that smile for someone dead...

Complete crap

A collection of cliches and lame tropes, executed extremely poorly and in the most contrived fashion possible. The artists themselves admit at the end that they intended to make the story contain as many romance fiction cliches as humanly possible. I think that really says it all. The story stands on outrageous and unbelievable back stories and introductions of third characters that are the enemy of the couple. Without these the story would not be able to fill 10 pages.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The whole split personality crazy psycho killer thing before the end of the manhwa was an enormous ass-pull that illustrates the most important thing to know about this work:

they were making it up as they went along. This series was written at an orderly schedule, by committee. they all gathered around a table and asked each other, what story should we tell this week? Each chapter is actually its own story, yet it has the same characters playing in it. And the authors let the reader mistakenly believe the manhwa is one singular story instead of a weekly publication of whatever they came up with before breakfast, no matter how nonsensical or completely unrelated to the rest of the work it might be.
