Story 7
Drawing 10
Maybe if Minamoto-sensei gave this manga a better story then I think it would make it a great manga cuz to me the drawing looks like it deserves a better story line

Except of the sometimes way to thin legs the drawing style is one of the best I've ever seen. I usually prefer dark long hair at girls but Ayame (the blond sister) is soooo damn cute. I would really really love if she would be the main character's girl in the end even though her breasts can't compare with her sisters. But all signs point on Ibuki what is the worst about this manga. The permanent absurd brutality of hers against the main character just pisses me off. Never the less I will go on reading alone for the awesome cuteness of Ayame.

Really liked the start. Interesting idea etc. But now more and more it's just a boring repeat. At first the mistaken pervert part was kinda funny, but now it's the complete opposite -.- It's just not funny anymore Oo It's just dragging out the story unnecessarily. There's no point to the story anymore.

I understand how some people feel about bashing manga like this. But the sad fact is that this is just another failed attempt at making a good harem action manga. This comment I typed earlier pretty much sums it up for people trying to defend cliche manga like this:
"The thing is that just because something's in a genre or demographic that's known for its' cliches, that doesn't mean that it has to follow any of them. Some people have forgotten to realize this and just decide to blindly accept whatever is thrown to them..."
They could have ignored some of the rules that are in its' genres/demographics and it would have been a great manga. But it follows all of them religiously, and that's where it fails. Like danielabda typed, these mangaka need to put some effort into their manga and make it different.

The real name of the manga isnt Ashita no Yoichi but Asu no Yoichi, the misunderstanding is cuz of ashita and asu kanjis are the same and also the meaning (tomorrow) but when I was reading chapter 9 I realised that uppon the kanji it is written asu in hiragana and not ashita ^^

Started reading the series after checking out the first episode of the anime and I have to say it has its own good points. I for one enjoyed watching the naive 17 year old come to the city and reek havoc. While the ecchi is a bit over done at times, 8 year old with breasts, and accidental groping. The characters have a fresh sense to me. It was nice having a main character who isnt a push over whimp. The character development seems to be a bit lacking but its only been 18 chapter. Overall its a great series to me. It had me laughing pretty hard due to the main characters expressions. If you want some entertainment and a good laugh check this series out. If your looking for a thought provoking or a more serious based martial arts manga look else where. Everyone needs to relax and have a good laugh even if they arent "13 years old"

this is actually a pretty decent manga. though the storyline and some of the humor is pretty formulaic, there are aspects of this manga where this work really shines. art, for one thing, is really good - expressions are done nicely, girls are kept sexxxay, and seeing the maincharacter getting beat up is always a nice panel to look at. character development too, is actually above average for this genre - ok, ok, there hasnt been THAT much, but give the series time to start people!
but its still a 10 in my books. [cuz i love the humor... and the girls...]

The art's great in this one but the story isn't anything special as others have noted. It makes for a decent read to pass the time if your into the ecchi/comedy genre. This series would be really great if it turned into a hentai but that's just my opinion on harem manga with great art and mild stories in general.

It made me laugh. However it IS sort of screwed up at some points. I think the guy gets a nosebleed after accidentally bumping his face into the huge chest of an 8 year old?
That just made me shiver.

People, people, people... Just an advice. Whenever you see a shounen, comedy, romance, and echii/harem all in one series. Expect the generic, expect the typical. I don't want to hear another comment saying that this is a typical manga, because that's what to be expected on a shounen echii. If you're more into storyline or seriousness or unclicheness, then read a SEINEN or shounen drama. Geez! That's what genres are for! Each people has their own taste! And I gotta say, despite it being typical, stereotype, generic, and cliche manga, I ENJOYED IT!
Now for the story/development of this manga, I won't be comparing this manga to other series. As far as I can see, this manga is more into character development than storyline. The storyline is fairly simple - about a samurai guy who lived in the mountains and decided to move to city and lived with 4 girls. Of course, each girl has their own issue, and other people who involves with them as well. As I've said, this manga is more into character development. So far so good, the development's good, and the art is AMAZING. So if you're more into story-oriented, then you probably won't like this.
