From Airship:
Seventeen-year-old Hajime Nagumo is your average, everyday otaku. However, his simple life of pulling all-nighters and sleeping in school is suddenly turned upside down when he, along with the rest of his class, is summoned to a fantasy world.
While the rest of his class are blessed with godlike powers and tasked with saving the human race from extinction, Hajime’s job, a Synergist, only has a single transmutation skill. Will he be able to survive in this dangerous world of monsters and demons with nothing but a glorified blacksmith’s level of strength?

1 - No matter the circumstances, you CAN NOT be betrayed by the person you trust the LEAST in the universe, because you don't trust them.
2 - Simizu tried to have the world go his way with dark magic and make an harem without caring how many he have to kill for it, he failed and got killed. Hajime tried to have the world go his way with violence and made an harem without caring how many he had to kill for it, he succeded and lived happily ever after.
3 - Betwen not killing no matter what out of sence of justice and always killing out of self centeredness, none is better than the other, both are equally flawled.
4 - Hajime told Aiko (the wakest and most vulnerable out of the named characters after myuu) about the truth of the world and no one else because "they would not belive it" and Nointo kidnapped her for that. He did absolutely nothing about Hiyama after meeting Kouki's party even when the only reason he was not a murderer is because Hajime somehow didn't die in orcus, and gave him green light to do wathever he wanted I.E killing Kaori (don't really mind that one). To rescue someone whose kidnapping was YOUR FAULT and to bring back to life someone whose death was YOUR FAULT, does NOT make you a hero, nor kind or admirable... It makes you dangerous.
(... I'll stop here, my stomach hurts just remembering...)

I actually like this novel, it's done pretty well and it fulfills its purpose of being a pretty lighthearted comedy power trip wish-fulfillment novel. I don't find the part about him gradually becoming more human again to be an issue, it's pretty interesting to see how he's regaining the humanity he lost.
There is also no real chance of you taking this seriously, neither should you. It's a rather stupid novel in many ways and the way it handles peoples thoughts and conflicts is juvenile at best. The reason for me liking it quite a bit is just that it's easy to read, easy to swallow and it's nice as a wish-fulfillment novel with nothing much other than that going for it.
What DOES piss me off, though, is the mc's attitude towards his harem and his situation. The author seems to think he's cool, but I just can't handle how stubborn and annoyingly fixated he is on monogamy and going back home.
If the author had kept it within reasonable limits, it would've been acceptable, but you quickly get tired of hearing that his only motivation for everything is going home. He has EVERYTHING but he just wants to go back home. I can understand the will to go home, but his situation isn't horrible anymore after the first dungeon, he also meets a lot of people he cares about. I can't agree on the mindset that he'd just want to abandon that entire world which made him who he is. I mean, it'd be fine if his goal was to find a way to make it possible to travel back and forth between both worlds, that'd be more understandable, especially with his power, but he just wants to go back home and doesn't care about that world at all.
I can still take that though, it doesn't matter that much. What I hated the most was the relationships. Not because I disliked the girls, no, I liked pretty much all of them to varying extents. What absolutely made me despise this author's way of doing things were that the mc is HELL-BENT on ONLY having one special girl. "Oh, but isn't that good? That he's faithful, etc" you might think. Yeah, I would've respected him for it. I like gradual development, when they don't just fall in love at first sight, I absolutely hate love at first sight, it disgusts me.
What pisses me off is that it's clear from the moment they're introduced that they love the mc. Every girl loves him and if they don't, they're falling in love soon enough. They also confess soon enough or at least the mc WILL be aware of it. He's not the dense f*cker you'd usually find. They're actively trying to get his attention and love. But he acts like a d*ck to all of them and not in a good way. Sure, that's fine. Take it slow. But the thing is, he keeps on saying and thinking over and over and over and over and over again that the vampire girl is the only one who's special to him. None of the other girls are special to him. Even towards the end, he's still on about the same sh*t. He likes the girls more and more, he also finds them more and more attractive, but he's hell-bent on claiming that they will NEVER be special to him. Not even when the vampire girl herself gets sick of his sh*t and tells him to f*ck the other girls or at least accept them does he do so. Nope, he just refuses because he has this weird worldview that monogamy is the only way to go.
It doesn't matter how much the girls come onto him or try to get him to accept them, he refuses even with his girlfriend's permission. The author want him to be some kind of weird moron that wants to treasure just one girl even though he likes all of them. A no-balls b*tch is pretty much what the mc amounts to.
But if that was all, it would still be more acceptable, it's just that I'm starting to skip all the parts where the mc talks with or about the vampire girl. It disgusts me. They're making out and flirting to the point where it's just repulsive. F*cking like bunnies and the author has to rub it in our faces that they love eachother so damn much all the time. It gets old quickly. We understood that they love eachother a lot at the very start, but she becomes an eyesore after the same thing is repeated over and over again all while the other girls, many of who are both more interesting, more hot and more preferable are left hanging. They just stare at the mc and the vampire girl having sex and making out everywhere and screams about how unfair it is and how annoyed they are, all while trying to get into his pants.
Not only is this just ridiculously, incredibly unrealistic and illogical(which girls would bear being able to see the man they love act like that with someone else all the time? Also, they're treated like shit compared to her, so just how f*cked up in the head must they be to keep on trying to get into his pants and becoming his wives?), it's also frustrating. We have all of these girls that we like more than the vampire girl but she's the only one who gets attention even though she's the most boring of them all, being someone of few words and who just mindlessly does everything the mc wants her to without caring about anything, she would go along with everything he wants to, she seriously doesn't have any real opinions of her own. Someone who is that pathetically dependant on the mc isn't really interesting as a heroine, especially not when better choices are throwing themselves at him.
So, the worst part of it all is the disgustingly bad romance. Without that, this would be far better in my mind. The author needs to get his head out of his a*s and realize that making the mc solely devoted to only one girl while several other girls are throwing themselves at him is just annoying for everyone reading this. Either make it a proper harem without him being so devoted to one person without budging until the end or make it a proper monogamy romance where the mc just travels with this one girl in love with him, not several.
6.5/10, -3 points for the romance and -0.5 points because the "enemy" characters and their motivations are generally juvenile and stupid.

The worst Novel ever

This starts promising, but after a few chapters (since the introduction of Yue an the most cringe and stupid romance I have ever read) it goes downhill so fast that I still feel dizzy from reading it.
The chracters are ZEROdimensionals and only exist 3 types:
1)Hajime: The Biggest Black Hole-God Mode Gary Stu ever created (it makes Kirito seems an awesome character in comparasion) His only role is being perfect, always being rigth in everything he does and looking badass. The perfect Gary Stu not even the Parody Stu reach his level in chunni.
1.2) Yue: The same but female.
2) Strong and Beautifull girls: Their role is falling in love with Hajime, just because, to make him look more Badass.
3) The others: Their role is being stupid, weak, jerks, evil... so Hajime looks Badass in comparasion.
The story is all over the place, the mood changes at every moment (probably following the mood of the author that day) its full of cliches, but the bad ones the ones that destroy a good story(not that this will be good even wihout them).
The world is created for Hajime and only for Him, every event that happens is for Hajime to look Badass, or for characters that are not Hajime to look pathetic.
This story fails at everithing, I love harem stories with Badass MC, but even I have a limit of how crap I can tolerate.
I rated this 1/10 just because I can't rate it -1/10
If you don't like boring cliche repetitive stories with awful OP MC don't come close to this.
If you like them, there are tons of better stories or at least less awful
If you are bored of your life and want to put an END to it, there are les paiful forms of doing it
But if you want a slow and paiful DEATH, this is your read.
(the last part is a joke, but trust me this Novel is crap)

The Japtem translation of this story is just absolutely terrible. Many years ago when this novel was first released, I read a few dozen chapters of this, couldn't stomach how bad it was and dropped it.
And thank god I did. Instead of pressing on, hoping it'll get better and probably spoiling the plot. Not reading it was absolutely the best choice ever.
Many years later, now that a few volumes of this has been released by J-novels, I did a comparison between the official release and the old copy I had, and the result is just absolutely stunning. Everything from naming sense, flow, syntax, writing style, action scenes, dialogues, spell descriptors, character interactions, anything and everything that makes a novel a novel is tons better than the previous version. It has turned, from what I thought was a terrible novel into one of my favourite novels ever. I cannot emphasis this enough.
There are often very good fan translations and sometimes very bad official translation. But in this case, the previous shitty fan translation just do not do this book justice at all. For anyone who's interested in this novel and even the people hated it from reading it before, I would highly recommend you get over to J-novels, get a copy to check it out and also support the translators for a job well done. It's just that good.

Hajime is the best character I've ever come across (I've read a lot of great novels) & the essential reason is because how intensely dedicated he is to the achievement of his own happiness, & how ruthless & shameless he is in achieving that end. The only point of existence is happiness, & happiness is ultimately an individual capacity
Anyone who attempts to claim that one individual intrinsically owes any random passerby or society in general anything, can come try & settle that claim with me--"One is an end in oneself"
I love you Shirakome, given that the maincharacter is ideal, I hope you never end this glorious series (I'm reading chapter 220)

This has a very strong start, the Mc completely looked down upon and is betrayed by one of his classmates. Wants revenge and strives to get stronger to get it, then just says fuck all that saves his classmates. There's also an extremely annoying harem.

Starts like any other isekai story and the Orcus Dungeon Arc is kind of good, leading you to belive the protag is gonna use unorthodox methods to get revenge in his OP classmates.
Then becomes crap.
Honest, some random loli vampire appears, then romance, then some bunny girl, the protag goes full chunni, cringe worthy level of bad twists, then harem, them more chunni.
A couple of gags were good (maybe), so it feels like a waste since a general plot line with the initial charge and the ocational joke would have been a lot better.

He's a chuunibyou Mary Sue incarnate: eyepatch, mismatched eyes, dark power sealed within him(iirc), dual wielding pistols with magic bullets, wears all black, etc. He turns into a dick and girls fall over him one after the other. The unwanted harem is painful, especially because he only has eyes for the 300 year old loli vampire. Spend your time elsewhere.

To be honest, i really like this one from the beginning to when Hajime and Yue fight against the Hydra, the later part is just shitty self-sastified piece of work comes from an insane bratty brat
It feels like the first part was written by a decent writer and after that he got bored and let a teenager to continue it
I give it an 8 for the first part and 3 for the later

Started off well, the MC started off strong after a certain incident. I believed that he will try to get his revenge, but later on he did not say a point to it. His next goal is to leave the world that kidnapped him, but then it became solely focused on the harem characters, and how much they love the MC.
