Im a guy, and here is a couple that I enjoyed
Kare Kano
Lovely Complex (until it got extremely repetative near the end, shoulda ended when the grandpa arc came)
Koukou Debut (really enjoyed this one)
Angel Sanctuary
to expound more on the subject, a shoujo a guy can relate to (for me at least) is when the guy is not perfect.
it goes beyond the whole knight in shining armor where the guy shows up in just the right moment every single time the girl gets in the slightest bit of trouble (that gets really frustrating), the male character has to have some actual development. He cant know exactly what to say and always know exactly what the girl is thinking, he has to be able to make mistakes, misunderstand, say the wrong things, and have more depth than perfection wrapped in a pretty face. something more realistic
but also...now that i think about it, most of the shoujo i like have a strong female lead, huh

Nice thread. I'll probably check back and add a few of my own. Most shojo manga I don't like, because I'm a guy, but occasionally there's one I like.

NG Life
Game x Rush
Nightmare Inspector

I highly recommend the works of MIDORIKAWA Yuki, both in general and also since her adventure stuff would probably appeal to you. Especially check out Hiiro no Isu and Natsume Yuujinchou.
Also check out MOTOMI Kyousuke. He's a male shoujo mangaka and draws stuff that I think both men and women would like. My personal favorite is Beast Master, but many people really like his current series, Dengeki Daisy. (Dengeki Daisy is good, but I really liked the male and female leads of Beast Master a lot.)
I love mangas by MORIMOTO Kozueko, especially Gokusen. (Don't let the art of the first few volumes put you off. It gets much, much better later on. You can check out her current work, Deka Wanko to see how huge of an improvement there is. Sadly, Deka Wanko's Hanamori isn't half the character that Gokusen's Yankumi was, but like Gokusen, Deka Wanko does at least have some action & comedy.)
You could also try Hachimitsu to Clover, as has already been suggested (and her current work, 3-gatsu no Lion, which is a seinen manga, but with some slight shoujo undertones since it's by a josei author).
MIZUSHIRO Setona's mangas are usually dark & psychological (not girly at all), so you might end up liking some of her shoujo & josei stuff. I especially like Diamond Head, and Kuro Bara Alice (her current series) is rather interesting so far. Personally, I wasn't a fan of After School Nightmare, but other people have loved it.
Yumekui Kenbun is a manga that started publication in a shoujo magazine before moving over into a shonen magazine.
1/2 Prince also blurs the line between shoujo and shonen.
You might also like:
Ah! Itoshi no Banchousama (female lead, blue collar male cast)
Aishiteruze Baby (male lead who starts off as a player--nice change of pace from shonen romances!)
Otomen (male lead who is the epitome of all things manly on the outside, but who really likes girly things on the inside & keeps trying to reconcile both halves of his personality)
Ludwig Kakumei (creepy & cunning male lead)
Karneval (haven't read this but a lot of people really love it & it has a male lead)
Kimi wa Boku no Toriko Nare (male lead is rather unique: he's cunning, while also totally apathetic. The female lead is bad ass)
Pika Ichi (Two wimps become inspired by yakuza movies and decide to hand out some justice.)
Actually, why don't you take a look though the titles currently running in AriA, the magazine that publishes Pika Ichi. It's a magazine that just started running, and the series in it aren't your usual shoujo mangas (high school girls and their thrilling first loves! Blah.) The titles seem more action & adventure oriented than ordinary slice of life. (Maybe the magazine is for girls who also read shonen, or older girls transitioning into josei?) There might be something there which you'll like:

going through first period? If not then none
but all kidding aside, depends on who you are, if you are drop dead gorgeous, rich, and smart(optional) then all of the shoujo, if not thhen probably none, unless a gender change is in the books

I say you give Cyboy a try. Seeing as the lead is a male, you may be able to relate with him in a few aspects. I would also recommend anything by Motomi Kyousuke. She's that good. And although not serious, but absolutely funny, try Yamada Tarou Monogatari and anything else by the author EXCEPT Boku to Kanojo no XXX (probably the worst manga I've ever read by her, unless you're a sadist/masochist) Other than that, try these!

If you click on the author's profile link, the info clearly states that 'he' is a she.

I'm throwing in Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume because while reading volume 9, the author blurbed that she got a lot of letters from male fans saying that they enjoyed her work. I like it because of the comedy. It's slice-of-life-ish... deals with working in a cafe/bakery with an aloof, bubbly girl, a weirdo / pokerfaced waiter, and an intimidating cashier. Give it a try.
I'm also gonna second Oresama Teacher -- after reading only two chapters just now, I needed to pee from laughing so hard. It's shounen-ish art with shounen-ish story-telling so far.

sluts !!! hah!!! only 1 of her manga had a woman who had simultaneous multiple sex partners i.e aisuru hito all others have only one partner at a time....and i dont think that is slutty.....
in this day and age u can't expect ur partner to be a virgin or without emotional baggage.......all tht matters is whether they are faithful or not (which is pretty hard to find too)
