I don't care what genre this is, just no BL [unless it's gender bender], hentai, or whatever.

I want a romance manga where the story doesn't just stop after the two people / whatever get together. >>; So it could be part trying-to-get-together, and part how-our-relationship-is-working-out. Whatever. >>;

Good examples include Itazura na Kiss [<33] and Bokura ga Ita. Though Bokura ga Ita doesn't have much of the "trying to get together" part, it still focuses on the development of the relationship WHILE they're together. I don't mind that either.

I don't want a 20 volume manga where the main chars get together in v19 and one volume is focused on their "relationship". Nothing like that. >__>;

'Tis all.

Koukou Debut comes to mind immediately...I'll try to think of others...

If you don't mind gritty seinen, you could try Ciguatera, I guess.

If you want something not so serious and very funny, maybe Love Roma

Sorry... I don't read that much romance.... but don't most shoujo have the couples start goin out pretty early in the storyline?

And actually, most shoujos drag on and onnnnn for 95% of the series till someone coughs up the balls to go up and confess. And before anyone says anything, Hana-Kimi is a different case as it had a perfectly good reason to why someone couldn't cough up the balls to confess earlier. :< Uh... sorta.

If you don't mind something that's still ongoing, you could try Pastel.

It is fairly long, but the couple gets together well before the point the manga's currently so quite a bit of the story now deals with their relationship together.

Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou Is a pretty good one I think. Sorry if you've read it

And from far away fits the criteria, but then again I always recommend that. 😀

its not shojo and a little mature, but if you want a manga that actually has people in relationships and not just beating around the bush for 12 years, start reading **Haru yo, Koi ** i really enjoy it, and its being scantalated again

I really enjoy reading Ren'ai Catalog and it seems to fit your description. It's completed in Japan but hasn't been fully scanlated yet. I would recommend giving it a try if you haven't already.

Well I liked Aizu aka I''s it had a pretty good story to it all at least in my opinion and like you said it, it doesn't end when he confesses to the girl he likes.

Pastel -

if you do consider it, be prepared for about 10+ volumes of build up (with cliffhangers) and finally it will begin to delve into post confession life. However it does have it moments.

Some pretty nice recommendations there guys.
