Since the shoujo demographic are girls the majority of shoujo manga are from a girl's perspective or maybe a more ambiguous 3rd perspective where you see it from multiple points of view.

What I'm looking for is a shoujo manga thats done from a male character's perspective. I know that there are a bunch out there.

However, I'd prefer it if it weren't too action oriented or fantastical. I'm looking for something more slice-of-lifey or "regular every day" kinda stuff. If its got a supernatural/fantasy flavor about it but its primarily regular every day then its fine. I'm not trying to rule that stuff out all together.

edit: I've read otomen

your post is pretty common to this Male Prespective
Male Prespective
Male Prespective
Male Prespective
Male Prespective

I recommend Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu though it has two prespectives

I recommend Honey and Clover, although i think it may be josei. They have a couple of perspectives, but the main character is a male.

all of those don't specify shoujo. Infact the second link says no shoujo.

And you're too lazy to look through the other 3? Bad form. Bad form.

Otomen is from a guy's perspective. Two in fact. It's pretty darn funny and cute too.

No, she/he isn´t lazy. Neither of these are shoujo (and she even said that). F*ck, look around before you start insulting.

I'd have to look again, but I'm pretty sure all of the links were to requests for "Romance from a male perspective". Yes, the stories would be told from a male perspective. However, I'm not JUST looking for romance, in fact it doesn't have to be romance. In addition, I suspect a strong majority of the suggestions would be for shounen/seinen mangas.

Yes, the requests are similar but looking through all 5(4 if you discount the one asking for no shoujo) would probably yield little results. Especially since I'm asking for shoujo from male perspective.

Btw, I'm male.

Stroke Material -its not really smut, but i doubt that it is shoujo... but i strongly remember that its told from the guys point of view..

Not a bad request...but I wonder whether any of my recommendations will suit you. I see from your profile that you read mostly comedy and romance, so I doubt you'll like any of these. But I hope you'll give at least some of them a try!

Flat (AOGIRI Natsu)
Please, Jeeves - Based on a P.G. Wodehouse novel. I hope you don't mind historical stuff.
Tactics - Even though this does have a bit of action, you might just like it.
Kokoro ni Hana Wo!!
Aishiteruze Baby - The only one I can recommend that has romance in it.
Kachin*Ko
Yamada Tarou Monogatari
Aka-chan to Boku
Boku Wa Ne

Hope this helps! smile

I never said that this topic isn't necessary. I didn't say this topic should be closed. Those topics were referred because there's a good chance they contain manga that the topic poster is looking for. The least he/she could do is browse through them.

(And darknova already said something to the effect that he/she'd look through it, so that's that.)

I second Flat. Also NG Life looks pretty good. I plan to read it soon when I get the chance. I have a huge list of interesting comics to choose from. Its hard to decide. >_<

Men's Kou - No recent releases TT_TT
Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru - This guy is really cheesy though
Salad Days - This isn't shoujo but it came to mind. It's a bunch of short stories about love. I really enjoyed this manga.
