Like the title says I'm looking for the most famous manhwa out there [not by your standards, but by sales and popularity], kinda like the one piece and naruto of the manga world. I have been reading manga for years, but i have always ignored manhwa.

i want to know the famous shonen, shoujo, and Seinen manhwa. The story could be any genre.

P.S. I don't want to read anything by IM Dal-Young, and the only manhwa i have ever read were Id and witch hunter. Thank you

The highest rated manwa on the site is Noblesse and thats a korean webcomic. still technically counts as manwa though.
Other high rated manwa are Orange Marmalade which i love and The Breaker which is printed but i absolutely hate. All three are high rated on this site.

The Bride of the Water God
Seems really popular. Personally, I don't like it and it gives me a headache. bigrazz
People say the art is really good but I beg to differ, it just has a lot of detail.

I think immortal regis was a manwha and fairly popular.... don't remember for sure. And I agree the breaker was a good manga... it has a few plot holes, no fanservice, and only a very slight love triangle/ a few background romances.... but the action and storyline, AWESOME I got so into that series I finished it from chap 8 to the end in one sitting.

And immortal regis was good.... but the sequel cavalier of the abyss will REALLY throw you off.... like insanely so.... I really wish the original series had gone on for much longer, it used to be in my favorite type of story for its genre, but still good.

Pink Lady & Trace were fairly popular iirc.

And Annarasumanara is a webcomic that got print volumes so I'm pretty its popular as well.

And this one is really really cute Tiara

The top manhwa in the rankings is The Breaker: New Waves. Most of the time, it is ranked in the 1~5 spots(of overall manga). I would strongly recommend it if you are an action+martial arts fan.
I have not yet read Noblesse, but I always hear that it is good.

Counting the recommendation for reading the sequel, it seems the breaker is liked quite a few people here smile . Also I'm not sure about popularity but despite it being slow and the art being a bit odd at times(mostly character designs, not bad, the artists just has pretty individualistic tastes) I really enjoy tower of god, and I think it is a reasonably popular manwha.

And HUGE seconds on Noblesse idk why I didn't rec it to begin with, but it is amazing... atm there is only small hints of romance aside from unrequited love, but I'm hoping on that changing soon. The chars are like 70% epic, shinwoo is bamf incarnite, and rai/frankenstein.... are hard to describe... kinda like the dudes if you saw them in rl u wouldn't know whether to be happy or crap your pants with the force of an exploding grenade.....
