dont you hate it when you are reading a manga online or maybe downloaded it w/e. just as your really getting into it you find out it was just an experiment or somthing by the author and has never/will never be finished/continued
my worst experience was reading Fire Candy
has it happened to you as well?

I'd like to see Sexy Voice and Robo come back from hiatus.

I'd love an ending for The Way This Boy Lives. It doesn't even have a sort-of-rushed ending, it just stops. (T_T)

yeah i hate that....was reading CAT and it was really into it, just to fight out it's been on Hiatus
also i had started Double Arts and it seemed kinda interesting, came back to a few months later to give it another shot, and it got cancelled, so i just said "Screw it, the endings probably gonna suck" so i dropped it

Hm, it's really annoying when a ongoing series gets dropped by the author or publisher but mostly I can live with it.
A manga I hate seeing as unfinished is Togari. In my opinion, the mangaka could have wrapped up the whole story with just two volumes more without any rush. It feels like it ended short before the end, which is really sad because it's story- and characterwise one of the better shounen.
The 'ending' is actually nice considering that the manga was canceled from one week to the other. Unlike other dropped manga, the author managed to not rush into a forced ending yet it's closed enough to to have a story cut at this point. Not at all perfect but still enjoyable till the last chapter. The tanks are definetely on my to-buy list.

It's a recent one, but Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu is a series I wish wasn't being put on hold. It seems Maki Youko would like to do a more conventional shoujo series rather than this one.
The new manga is apparently going to have a high school setting (ugh) and there's going to be a love triangle (ugh), which is pretty much the opposite of Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu, which had elementary school kids and adults as its main characters and was set in the countryside.
Hatori Bisco put Millennium Snow on hiatus to work on Ouran High School Host Club, which is too bad since Millennium Snow was pretty good, but obviously in retrospect was the right decision given the runaway success that Ouran has been.
Though I wasn't a big fan of the series, it'd be nice if Shaman King was given a proper ending at some point, at least so we could get some closure on it. (Though if I had to pick, I would much rather that Karakuridouji Ultimo, his new series with Stan Lee turn out to be awesome and it last for a long time than to read the ending of a so-so manga.)

Yoo Ah Dok Jun is a manga that i would like to see begin again. It was one of the best Harem manga out, but just stopped right on a cliffhanger.
Yeah damn it!! i really like this harem manhwa because it is one of the few titles where the hero is not a weak bastard!!
And also mxo!! I thought it would have at least 150+ chapters, they didn't even let it reach 100 chapters b4 canceling it

I was like "yay I'm going to read this from the beginning and keep up with it, instead of coming in late and catching up."
Gargh! And it had everything that I like in a manga!
Whatever. This (luckily) doesn't happen very often.

Would Highschool of the Dead count as this? Because I've heard rumors that the mangaka got bored with it and dumped it to start a new manga...

Some of CLAMP's works, including Clover (CLAMP), X/1999, and Gohou Drug are on hiatus now. But it would be nice if would be out of it.
Also, Sugar Princess, (I dunno if it counts) and Itazura na Kiss, which is a shame, especially for the latter one because the author died before the series was completed.

I thought Double Arts had potential.
I don't agree that the ending didn't feel forced, but it was an ending.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The "Return of the King"-esque ending where you see her writing it down as a history after everything was said and done is a definite cop-out forced ending, but at least there was a nugget for the people who wanted to see a romance.

Blaster Knuckle was one of those. >< Such an awesome series.
I'm totally with you on Fire Candy, too, though.
