I don't have a good track record with mature seinen, but other seinen can be quite enjoyable. Since it's a genre that is focused on men, you might be surprised as to what shounen and seinen can actually offer. My favorite manga is actually Yotsubato! and it's shounen. I also like Stray little devil and angel densetsu which are shounen as well. My favorite seinen have got to be: Girl friends, Ichigo mashimaro, Poor poor lips, Hotel, Octave, Candy boy, hayate x blade, and sasameki koto. Try'em out sometime.

its actually, so far, well made since it goes inside their mind to see how they think about it, the suffering for being like that and all.
but anw like some other ppl said, ecchi, but i have no intention of taking suggestions cz... i already have in mind to read some titles with ecchi in the future.

For people who don't really like BL, I can suggest you to read
KINOSHITA Keiko
Especially Uchi no Ouji Irimasen ka
cute story and very light. You always gotta start with the light stuff and test the waters before putting your whole foot in there.
Usually I'm the type who reads any genre, sometimes hentai lol if it has some type of plot, but mostly I don't read that stuff since it's so rare. Ecchi, I don't really like...but if it doesn't have too much fanservice, I'll read it. Don't like shoujo as much as before when I started reading manga, their stories are way too generic. Shounen I'm iffy, but I'm game if it's funny. BL/GL I'm open to it because some of the stories managed to make me cry XD. Josei, I'm not sure, I did read one that made me lachrymose.

As for some other genres I prefer never have to either see or read just a single page, there are yuri, lolicon and shotacon.
Ecchi comes close to those above, since almost every single story is ruined by the style. I know a few exceptions but they cannot possibly make up for the rest.

I can give you something for that Yuri hate:
Strawberry Shake funny and cute, Girl Friends a tale of two girls discovering their own sexuality (nothing even remotely close to hentai)
For lolicon you could try Kodomo no Jikan, a story about children that want to be adults and adults that still are children.
I can't say anything about Shota, but Shoujo is not a genre, is a demography. There are several kinds of Shojou, is hard to say you just plain old don't like them.

If you object to incest and you're a male, play Kana ~Little Sister~ and see what happens.
Same thing goes for yuri and Girl Friends.
But mentioning hentai is pointless; just leave it out of the discussion.

I dislike anything that's overtly sexual or violent. There's no convincing me on this one.
Shounen. Any of them, but especially robots/mechas. There are some exceptions though, like FMA: Brotherhood, but I hate the rest. Any good shounen you'd recommend to change my point of view?
Shounen-ai. I've read two shounen-ai manga so far, and both of them happened to have transgendered leading characters so that's technically regular shoujo. I'm hesitant about picking up any other one because I'm really not into boys' love. Prove me wrong.

It pains me when people say that they dislike shounen-ai  Here, try Seven Days. I enjoyed it a lot.
And if you dislike overly violent, I recommend Elfen Lied and maybe Detective Conan? I guess it's more gore, but it might introduce you to that kind of manga before you try Berserk.
