So, the other day I was thinking about the differences of josei and shoujo (besides what magazines they're published in). My train of thought went from the differences in the romance to the differences with a mostly male cast. But, then I realized that I don't (think) I read any shoujo with a mostly male cast and that they happen to be josei.
Almost anything goes, but I don't want a reverse harem.
Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan - Would cross-dressing count? The main female character dresses as a boy for a reason as much as the main male character sometimes dresses as a girl for a reason too.
