I keep searching for a light-hearted funny romantic comedy and nothing is really standing out to me in my searches so I think I need outside input My only caveats are 1) nothing too innocent and sugary (think Love so Life or Kimi ni Todoke) and 2) no ecchi / over reliance on sexual humour (there's only so many times you can watch or read a guy falling all over himself because of breasts before it just gets old).

I guess as a starting point I'm really enjoying Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii so far, 19 Days Tamen de Gushi and ReLIFE (most of those aren't actually labelled slice of life but hey)

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun? The romance between the two main characters is slow but not sugary, and it's hilarious.

14-sai no koi Slice of life of middle high school students. Cute and warm, but so realistic

Hatsukiai slice of life couples and their first time going out. It too sugary though, so you may need some insulin

Kekkonshite mo Koishiteru slice of life of a real married couple with their children

Spotted flower slice of life of pregnant wife and otaku husband

ojojojo for a 4 coma manga, the romance and characters development is amazing

Hayate no Gotoku! is probably not the image you had in mind, but I had to mention it as it is an excellent slice of life romcom, especially in light of recent developments that signals the approach of the end.

For the most part it's a light-hearted SoL comedy that in develops its romances and plot in small spurts and when it does happen it's quite good. The fanservice is not cliche and the writing does get better over time and becomes very enjoyable.
