I've been having some trouble finding a new good romance manga to read. My wish list have been piling up but i just cant seem to get started on anything so i've decided to just go and read what u recomend and not just pile em up like a squirrel. Please do check my wish list to see what i should read, if i dont have it on the wish list please do recommend anyway

What i would like is a good long (atleast 40+chapters)
One of the following should be in the manga you recomend (please )

*A strong male lead, strong as in not physical but not a total wuss, examples that comes to my mind is like the guy in Suzuka and UxU

*A more mature romance where the first girl isnt the end girl, where ppl do mistakes, maybe a little smut too.

*A dramatic manga , maybe something like ichigo 100% with the triangle drama. I had fun wondering who he would end up with and the plot with all the twist and turns kept me hooked, (ok maybe sometimes it was annyoing but overall it was fun)

I prefer shounen/seinen but shoujo works too, but only if its a male pov. sci-fi mecha is ok as long as its not a battle manga.

Nisekoi is a good one. [EDIT: you asked for 40+ chapters so this one should probs be ignored. its only at C. 15 at the moment]

Wow it's really hard to find shounen romance with non wimpy male leads, hence the reason I stick to shoujo. Anyway so far I found Ningyo no Mori which is a GREAT manga and one of my all time favs, it's fits your criteria. Not smut though

Also Midori no Hibi It was pretty good, had a very strong lead physically and mentally. No smut either.

Sorry, I'm not a big fan of shounen, as a matter of fact I hate most of them but those are the only ones that match your criteria.


P.S: You have YuYu Hakusho in your wish list?? That should be in your complete list!!! Hurry and read it, it's soooo goood. You don't know what your missing

True , finding a good male lead in a shounen/seinen is very hard, and its starting to get very irritating to read about those whimpy leads
For some reason i just cant seem too read most of the shoujos although there are a few exeptions , like kare kano, kaichou wa maid sama, and kimi ni todoke , all those are great mangas imo. It is hard for me to read from a female perspective for some reason :/

it may be short but it's a great one

as for shoujo:
Akagami no Shirayukihime
Orange Marmalade

both only have strong protagonists

btw if you're looking for more good romances, you can also check my lists, since I only read romances for quite some time now, the higher rating ones (9+) were really great ones (imho).
