Until Death Do Us Part---won't get bored with this one, the pace is perfect
Gantz---good character development. the protagonist becomes a mean badass later.
World Embryo--the protagonist is pretty unique in this one
Beelzebub--epic manga this one
Hoshi no Samidare-the premise is ridiculous but its got unique characters

Try reading kyou kara ore wa, it's about two normal students deciding to become delinquents.
It has some action, but its main focus is on hilarious comedy. The art might seem really weird at first, but it becomes better with time, though it'll never become what you might call normal.
Just try two or three chapters. In case you like it, then continue reading because that's exactly what you get. If you don't like it then you better drop it, because there's no way the manga will change into something that you will like in the latter volumes.
