I don't know about you, but anything Honami Yukine has ever illustrated is just... awesome. I don't know, but there's something about those that I always liked. I also liked uh... "kissing". Not too sure on who did that one. Fake Fur isn't too bad either, but not too good all the same.

I like mangas where both characters are seemingly on equal footing in the relationship, referable they are about the same height. For some reasons, I have problems with the female characters or the uke characters to look so short and tiny next to the male characters in any genres. Also, I tend to like mangas where there's a friendship at first, great if they are childhood friend, I don't like to read about love at first sight story. I also like comedy.

Any mangas of Yumeka Sumomo - I don't like it when there's too much misery. She always has a great balance between sadness and sweetness.

Vassalord - CHRONO Nanae

Some mangas of TOYAMA Mako.

- All mangas of ODAGIRI Hotaru. I really love OTRFK manga but I can't say the same for the novels. I knew ahead of time that I might hate the novel when I found out the author for OTRFK was Rin's mangaka. I hated Rin with its never ending self-imposed misery and other's imposed expectation on you. I was right, I hated the OTRFK 3rd novel. I felt like I was reading one of those political fantasy novel.

- All Aoi Kujou's and Most of FUJIYAMA Hyouta's - Their mangas are the epitome of what I like to see in a manga. The two people's height are about the same. There's a certain friendship already established in the past, or the relationship moves slowly at first. I always love the characters' hair in Aoi's mangas for some reason biggrin

- MINASE Masara's OneShots - Even though they are oneshots, you feel they are an established story.
- HAIJI Sakura's mangas - cute
- Komatta toki ni wa hoshi ni kike by Abe miyuki - I used to follow this obsessively until I started to lose interest in it because new chapter took too long to release in between.
- Sugiura Shiho's Silver Diamond and Koori no Mamono no Monogatari
- Loveless
- Wagamama dakedo Itoshikute
- Sukijanai kedo Aishiteru
- Maruya Kae
- Shitsuren Mania - This manga grows on me the more I read it.

Quote from otakubaybay

I love Love Neco!!! lol, if that makes sense. It is by Kazuhiko Mishima, who is an author whose works I always try to check out! I think I have read all the ones available through scanslation; Issou mo Kudokitai, Love Neco, Miwaku no Ringo [what has been released of it] and I'll read The Whole World Revolves Around You.

I would really recommend any of the above named works, they are excellent, with adorable/sexy/realistic characters, and great storylines that I am always enthralled with, and stuff. lol. bigrazz READ THESE WORKS!!! eyes

Also, while I'm posting, Fujiyama Hyouta is also a great author to read the works of. The ones I've read are Dear Green - and its prequel Hitomi no Ounowa, Honki Ja Nee Kara and Junjou [altho this one wasn't as good.]
For the record, the reason why I'm mentioning her is that I always get confused between Kazuhiko Mishima and Fujiyama Hyouta. Haha. They're works have the same great qualities, so anyone that is thinking of taking an interest in the first, might want to look out for the second too.

smile smile smile lol.

There're so many I like!
I try to catch all of Minami-sensei's work, as well as Naono Bohra's, but I discover great yaoi mangakas every day.
Just yesterday I read a manga that (what I believe) had one of the most beautiful uke's ever (okay, so he looks kinda feminine, but at least he's not all vulnerablesmile) - Kanga na Spoon by Ike Reibun.

Some of my all-time favourites are Love Mode
1999 Shanghai
Na mo Naki Tori no Tobu Yoake (this is way coolbiggrin)
Silver Diamond (sad it got licensed, excellent plot)
A Sex Therapist (this is just too good)

Also, I would like to recommend a FMA doujinshi that's got the most beautiful Ed ever seen on the face of this earth - Fullmetal Alchemist dj - Next Restraint.

To name some that haven't been mentioned...

Boys Next Door - A bit dark (as most of Yuki Kaori's work are) but I really liked this. The plot is unique.

Sensitive Pornograph - Several stories and they're cute, art is pretty good as well, but graphic.

Akai Hana - A cute oneshot. Guys in kimonos and a vampire? I'm sold. It's really worth a try, the ending is nice.

I'm going to keep coming back here to see what other people write. It's nice to see some I've never read biggrin

Whoa, where's all the Junjou Romantica fans?! I recommend that to everyone who hasn't started reading it already. (: But, anyway, here's my list.

Junjou Romantica - It's pretty amazing, very funny.
Sakura Gari - Don't be fooled; Watase Yuu, a shoujo mangaka, is currently working on it, but is possibly the best yaoi I've ever read. It's very dramatic. Love, Love, Love.
Sweet Poison On Our Lips - There is probably no sex in there, it's yaoi probably because it's implied, but it's cute, none-the-less. (:
Any work by Mizukami Shin-sensei, I love her drawing style with a passion. =D
The Guy Three Doors Down - It's really good, very realistic; actually, I would recommend anything by this mangaka.
Warui Yume - It's only a one-shot, but a lot of emotion is in that one-shot, therefore, making it very amazing.
Do You Know My Detective? - Pretty good so far.
Ore ni Koi Shite Dousunda - Very good. Be warned, it is between an uncle and nephew.
Doushitemo Furetakunai - Amazing so far. Yoneda Kou has thrown out some great stories.
Bukiyou na Silent - Very, very cute. Well, anything by Takanaga Hinako-sensei is pretty cute, no complaints there.
Under Grand Hotel - I thought it was very good. It's pretty graphic, though, so be warned. ^^
LSD - So far, it's not bad at all, can't wait to see how it plays out.
Café Latte Rhapsody & Cut - Two great mangas by a great mangaka. Anything by Kawai Touko is pretty good.
Crimson Spell - I love it. I thought I wouldn't be a fan, but it's amazing. ♥
Wonderful Days? - Very cute; the uke is a little whiny, but very cute, none-the-less.
Wonderful Life - It's good, and they're already in love, so it just goes through their struggles a little bit. Definitely a bit of a breather.
Signal - Very cute.
Baby Maybe - Again, very cute.
Doushiyoumo Nai Karedo - Ahh, it's a personal favorite. Cute so far, unfortunately, there isn't really any action yet.

I think that's it, the list may grow. Yeah, I'm a pretty big yaoi fangirl, sorry the list is so long. laugh

So far, my favorites include:
Cut
Saa Koi ni Ochitamae
Shiosai
Thirsty for Love
Kanjou Spectrum
Arashi no Ato
Kyoushi mo Iroiro Aruwakede
Hitomi no Ounowa (Dear Green)
Viewfinder
Mukizu ja Irarenee

But then again I haven't read some of the big ones like Crimson Spell or Let Dai or Totally Captivated yet, so no telling where they might fall for me.

EDIT 06-Apr: Ok, I finally read Crimson Spell and it immediately went on the "I'm buying this" list. It's gorgeous, and I like the plot. And I find it fairly erotic. I definitely like Yamane Ayano's art.
