ive gotten tired of starting manga and getting bored of waiting a month. can someone recomment completed manga? also, it'd be cool if the main character is likable there is nothing worse than a book with a great story but an annoying main character/

Emma -A historical romance in europe.Really good
Kyuuketsu Yuugi - vampire, moster, human queen and princess.
[m]Slum Dunk[/m] - basketball manga
Superior - about demon and human fight and some romance

Most of my manga are romance, not sure if it will suit you taste. So, I only list a few.

If you're looking for a completed manga with a likable main character, you should try Angel Densetsu

-Eden: It's an Endless World!:lots of text, drug, violence,(which lead to)sex, sci-fi
-Rurouni Kenshin:typical shounen you don't want to miss
-YuYu Hakusho:above
-Hoshi no Samidare: good psychological manga
-Pretty Face: pretty fun; Mx0:same author, same air.
-Suzuka:romance, 1st(and only) hit of its author and many's favorite.
-Sanctuary: can deal with politics? lots of it,plus sex? then this manga is for u.
-Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: very good slice of life manga
-Ai Yori Aoshi:better than Love Hina imo
-GTO:teachers never get better than this

Shorter:
-Uzumaki: horror, best of its author.
-Nijigahara Holograph
-Skyhigh; Skyhigh Karma
-Haruka na Machi e

Besides, if you like wtf stuff, try The Family Zoo or School Days(for school days, you can also try the anime version, but best if you can find the visual novel *grin evilly*)
