Now I'm sure you are wondering what this means. They are all different. But with one thing in common: There is no long ongoing love triangle and you know eventually the two main characters will end up together. Thats basically it.

A romance with two people. It can be funny or dramatic. It can have other couples. As long as there is no threesome crap. It can have smut as well. But it cannot have rape=love bullcrap. The girl needs to be a little aggressive. points to Yoshihara Yuki's manga

As long as it is nothing and I mean nothing like Peach Girl, Vampire Knight, Hana Yori Dango, Fruits Basket, Kitchen Princess, Moe Kare!!, or any other love triangle or Harem manga/anime. I cant stand them and wont go into it now because it will not only turn into a rant but insult some people and popular series.

I'd prefer it complete or at least with decent amount of volumes already out.

Oh and I accept yuri/shoujo ai. I liked Girl Friends. Dont know much else. Shounen ai is ok too. No yaoi. Chances are its terrible. I'm close to done with this genre.

He actually goes out with the other girl. It's been a long time since I watched the anime... never read the manga (cuz I hated the anime).

And I dont really mind love triangles. If its done like in Toradora (only saw the anime) or Crossroad. Theres more then three people involved and by the end of it I didnt hate any of them. It didnt really feel too tense if that makes any sense.

I just dont like the ones where they take over the entire manga and could be resolved if someone would just open their mouth. Like Peach Girl for example.

The entire manga the girl goes back and forth constantly to the very last chapter. It makes it hard to enjoy the story when these two people have to get heartbroken because the indecisive and selfish main character cant make up their mind. She should have at least talked to Kairi before rushing off with Toji and Kairi should have opened his mouth and said the truth. But because they both dont and dance around the issue Toji gets hurt at the end. He wasnt my favorite character but he went through alot of hell because of Sae, Momo, and Kairi.

If you are OK with historical and one-shots, I think I should add:

love roma a fairly funny manga with a blatantly honest feel to it.
These are historical ones:
mademoiselle butterfly - Geisha in training(?) falls for a tattoo artist
antique romance - Girl is bought by a guy who collects things

The couple get together in the first volume and The story basically revolves around their relationship and other work-related issues.
