well I just read Eien No With yesterday..and started wanting to read a romance manga again...but I really don't know what kind of romance I'm looking for >.<...but I do know what I don't want XD...lets see...I don't want:

-ecchi, hentai, harem, a lot of smut
-a female protagonist who always goes "kyaaa" and the manga ends with 3 kisses in 15 volumes
-a male protagonist who is an idiot
-no pairing where the girl gets the best boy (and all other boys) because of some weird charm

I want them to be serious about their relationship....maby something like the relationship in Eien No With but not as a subplot...anyway as long as it doesn't have anything from the above mantioned everything is fine as long as it's good.

well that's basically what I'm looking for...
hopefully there is something like this out there ^^

I have a lot I could say, but this is by far the best romance manga I've read. It feels classic. Plus, neither of the characters are morons, and the girl isn't weak.

I'm glad u think so Oh, and if u'll like these two, there's also one from Wann, also really interesting - Snow Queen.
And if u liked Anatolia Story, then maybe u'll like Ao no Fuuin from the same mangaka...And well, I am not sure if u want something more simple, sweet, or something more complex, that has a bigger story behind the romance or with romance in it's center... if u want something like this, then maybe Ayashi no Ceres oh and now I remembered, Real Fake Princess... there's also Divine Melody, which is not complete, but there's only like two more chapters to go and scanlation group is releasing it regularly...so it should end early. And if u want something cute... then maybe Arakure(finished)... and umm.. more funny: Private Prince then Akuma de Sourou - she is a bit annoying, but what I like about this is their at first love-hate relationship and that it goes all the way from high school to their wedding (like in Kiss/Hug or MS or Kare Kano)

I'll second or third Kiss

Mana - it doesn't start out romance but ends up there. Has supernatural and horror elements.

Living Game is seinen. Gets kind of draggy in the middle, but I thought it wound up beautifully.

Try hana kimi, w juliet, kare first love, beauty pop. I really recommed kare first love, its what ur looking for.
