The thing is, I made a list of recommendations for an user and I planned to include a very few Shoujo and Josei manga. For my surprise, the ones I thought to be Shoujo/Josei were Seinen, with the exception of Deep Love.

Now I’m here asking for recommendations for myself, these only been Shoujo or Josei, with a highly inclination for the last one.

The genres I tend to like most are the follow: Action, Horror, Thriller, Mystery, Supernatural, Psychological, Sci-Fi, Drama, Historical, Slice of Life and Cuisine. If you go for sports, martial arts, racing, soccer, baseball, board game, mountain climbing and basketball.

Besides all that I would accept anything that was different and I don’t like works that tend to be a lot sexual, with a feel exceptions. Depends on the plot.

Oh, and you can recommend things that are on my PTR. A lot of good stuff must be lost there.

Since you mentioned cuisine Amaama to Inazuma oh wait... oops it's seinen. Sorry, I was sure it was...
Okay moving on.. Meiji Hiiro Kitan and Oiran Girl Historical, Josei, romance too but that usually comes with shoujo and josei so..
You may like Teru Teru x Shounen Shoujo, Drama, Psychological and other stuff
Maybe Principal just because of character development
I second 7 seeds, considering the genres you listed. I think it's right up your alley. And maybe try Basara by the same author.

I'm going to second Principal because, well, I translate it. Shameless plug. eyes But the truth is, this is one of the best things I've read in a long time, genre aside. No kidding. It's just a really well-told story that reads like a sparse-texted novel with wonderfully fleshed out characters that make you want to weep and laugh and shake fists into the air. Yes, there is a romance tag. But don't let it deter you. It's not what it seems. The family are not "background characters" like in most shoujo mangas. Everyone just seems so freaking real, like they're ripped straight out of real life. Please, please read it. I swear I'm going to work very hard to bring this story to completion.

I also think you MUST read Sekine's Love. Everyone who has read it has fallen in love with the main character, men included. This guy is probably THE most pitiful and beautiful - or beautifully pitiful? - creature you will ever get to know in your entire life.

I'm fond of the historical fantasy alternate world type setting, so the following manga all fit with that.
Immortal Rain
Akagami no Shirayukihime
Shounen Oujo
Bokura no Kiseki

PS - Out of the previous recs I highly recommend Chang Ge Xing, Natsume's book of friends and Gokusen.

@gajjark - LOL that's also the same first recommendation I received on another forum.

@F_J - Amaama to Inazuma seens great, I hate this demographic stuff XD Seinen only by the magazine.

@catandmouse - Kagen no Tsuki seens great!

@hatsumimi99 - I think I will love Sekine's Love. This guy looks like me. INTJ for sure.

@rhin33 - Nice choices

@Shonaiula - Right on the spot. =D

If you don't mind me adding on...

Seconding a few that others have recommended:

Kimi wa petto
Gokusen You kind of have to get use to the art, but it gets a mass improvement. It's my favorite Josei
Basara, the best shoujo ever IMO
Mars
Cat Street
Immortal Rain

Ghost Hunt and it's sequel, which is currently on-going (Mystery, Horror, Psychological, Supernatural)
Kanata Kara (Action, Adventure, Supernatural)
Anatolia Story (Adventure, Historical)
Kodocha You may find it kind of weird because the main characters are 12 but trust me on this (Psychological, Drama)
Tokyo Crazy Paradise A great action in a dystopia world (Action)
Donten ni Warau (Historical, Action, Supernatural)
Miriam and all of the sequel (Action, Historical)
Rasetsu no Hana, it's completed but not completely translated (Supernatural, Horror)
Kaguyahime, if you don't mind LGBT side characters, but not completely translated (Drama, Adventure, Mystery, Horror)
Nana but I suspect it may be on permanent hiatus. (Drama)
W Juliet (Drama)
Banana Fish I have to warn you that it's a tragedy (Drama, Action, Psychological)
Please save my Earth (Supernatural, Psychological)
Petshop of Horrors, it's still on-going, changing magazines for the third time, but I highly recommend it. I've been following it for about 8 years. (Horror, Mystery, Psychological)

P.S I did not counter-check on the genres but I'm not far off because I typed them out of the top of my head. All of them are josei and shoujo. I like darker stories so I believe most of them would suit your taste. Also, they are all pretty long because of my bias.

Some really great suggestions in this thread. I'd also add the following:

A, A'
From Eroica with Love
Glass Mask
Himitsu - The Top Secret
Hyakki Yakoushou
Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji
Patalliro (one of the few shoujo series drawn by a male mangaka)
Rose of Versailles
Sukeban Deka
They Were Eleven
Tomoe ga Yuku!

A Cruel God Reigns is also excellent but might not be your cup of tea.

Most of the good ones have been rec'ced already, but I can add a few:

Conductor - Shoujo written by a male novelist and adapted to manga; a very nice murder mystery.

I'd also recommend Shinrei Tantei Yakumo, by the same novelist, but in this case I think you should read the original novel - which is also being regularly translated - as opposed to the less-than-perfect manga adaptation.

Doubutsu no Oishasan - Only if you like animals, though, because this is a slice-of-life comedy about a group of vet students.

Mysteries, though the last also has a supernatural element:
Mozart wa Komoriuta wo Utawanai
K no Souretsu
Sugiru Juunana no Haru

Lots of Comic Zero-Sum josei fit the bill:
Amatsuki
07-Ghost
di(e)ce
Bokura no Kiseki
Are You Alice?
+C: Sword and Cornett
Dolls
Husk Eden
Karneval
Landreaall
Ransetsuki
Olimpos
Tetsuichi
Zion
Tousei Gensou Hakubutsushi
Saiyuki and its prequels and sequels
Wild Adapter

Also, seconding Pet Shop of Horrors and its associated series, and Himitsu.
