So, as the title says I'm looking for a short shojou manga, it would be perfect if it was 1 or 2 volumes. If it's really good maybe 3...
I don't really have read any so just suggest what you can think of ^_^
No smut or anything in that direction please, but that's all!
Thanks!!!

Beast Master
Eensy-Weensy Monster
Kimi wa Girlfriend

The Kidnapping of Minja Jo's Boyfriend--highly recommended. The female lead is pretty awesome.
The Prince's Cactus
Ipaasha--its a oneshot but its pretty good so thought you might want a read.
Kimi no Sei--ongoing, according to info its complete at three volumes. I have read the first two chapters and its really really good.

A*D
Kaichou-san Chi no Koneko
Yakusoku Siren - Ongoing, but I don't think it'll be very long.
Boushiya Ellipsis
Adekan - I'm not absolutely sure that this is complete, though.
Lore no Mori
From the City that Never Sleeps
0 no Soukoushi
C-Blossom - Case 729
Camelot Garden
Akusaga
Baku
Byakuya Zaushi
Cat and Bird
Coelacanth
Crimson Cross
Eien no With
K no Souretsu
Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai
Kokoro ni Hana wo!!
Konya mo Hitori de Nemurenai
Soul Rescue
Utahime
Yasei no Bara
Yoru wo Utau Kodomotachi
Hana wa Knife o Mi ni Matou
Glory Age - Hope you don't mind (very vague) shounen-ai.

I hope romance isn't a big necessity. A few of these manga have romance, but most don't. They're still pretty good, though- and I really recommend them!

Hanatsukihime - 2 volumes, extremely recommended
Imadoki! - but it's 4 volumes
Mugen Spiral - 2 volumes but horrible ending
Tonari no Shugoshin - 2 volumes
Bloody Kiss - 2 volumes
Canon - but it's 4 volumes
Datte Suki Nandamon - 2 volumes
Ai Hime - Ai to Himegoto - 3 volumes
Kieli - 2 volumes, extremely recommended
Adarushan no Hanayome - 2 volumes
Appare Jipangu! - 3 volumes, extremely recommended. In fact, everything by Watase-sensei is recommended.
Home - 2 volumes
Himegimi no Tsukurikata - 2 volumes
Romeo x Juliet - 2 volumes
Wanted - 1 volume

I would suggest starting with Camelot Garden, as the previous person has recommended, Appare Jipangu, and Kieli, then work your way through the various degrees of romance. Check on the info pages for most of them and decide which you want. Hope this helps. smile

Almost everything I read is under three volumes.

My favorites:
Doll: A great one-volume story about romance between dancers in New York. Gorgeous art.
A Million-Pound Love - A collection of really well-written oneshots.
Banana Bread no Pudding - One volume of Ooshima-sensei's typical surrealism and philosophy.
Hotarubi no Mori E - A collection of really sweet, atypical romance stories.
Lady Mitsuko - An excellent one-volume romance about the true story of Mitsuko Aoyama, mother of Richard Nikolaus Graf Coudenhove-Kalergi.
Natsu e no Tobira - An achingly melodramatic one-volume story about the relationship between a teenage boy and a prostitute.
Nemuranai Machi kara - A lovely one-volume story about the lives of several families living in a building in a shopping district.
Switch (MOCHIZUKI Karin) - A really nice two-volume student-teacher romance.
Fusuma Land 4.5 - A silly comedy about a conscientious girl who travels into a magical land through a fusuma door.
Himitsu no Kaidan - Really sweet, mildly supernatural stories about friendship between girls at a boarding school. (Not really shoujo-ai.)
Hoshi wo Tsumu Donna - A lovely two-volume series about a girl who does ballet.
Aiiro Shinwa - An very nice one-volume romance.
Gin'iro no Kami no Arisa - An awesome one-volume story about revenge.
Shinohara Chie Kessakushuu - One volume of really creepy horror oneshots.
Akage no Anne - A really well-done adapatation of Anne of Green Gables.
Owaru Heart Janee - One volume about a rock star who takes in a 16-year-old prostitute.
Garden Dreams - A fairy tale-esque story.
Hana no Koe - Oneshots set in ancient China. Gorgeous art.
Home - Sweet romance between a Spanish girl and a samurai.

Some other short ones I've read, and some I haven't:
7 Genme wa Himitsu - 3 chapters long, not counting the oneshots
Choco to Mint to - Ditto, I think
Densha Otoko - Bijo to Junjo Otaku Seinen no Net Hatsu Love Story: One-volume shoujo version of Train Man. Not great.
Four Shoujo Stories - Four excellent stories in one thick volume.
Knife - A volume of slightly experimental oneshots.
Kobatotei Ibun - A volume of light, spirit-related oneshots.
Mahou Kishi Rayearth: A likeable 3-volume magical girl fantasy.
Niji no Ikusa - A very short but very sweet one-volume historical romance.
Oujo Alexandra - One volume of serious unintentional ridiculousness.
Saikou no Kiss wo Ageru - One volume of typical but likeable oneshots.
Suki Suki Darling - One volume of typical but likeable oneshots.
Veins - One volume of really well-drawn oneshots.
G-Senjo no Maria - A nice story about girls at a Catholic school.
Hiki - Japanese horror at its shoujo best.
Kagen no Tsuki - A great, surreal 3-volume romance.
Shimotsuma Monogatari - The manga version of Kamikaze Girls.
The Kidnapping of Minja Jo's Boyfriend - A really good Stockholm Syndrome romance with the girl as the kidnapper.
C-Blossom - Case 729 - Two volumes. Pretty good.
Cinderella Boy - A gender bender with a crossdressing girl in a boy band.
Daddy Long Legs - Manhwa adaptation of the popular American novel.
Keppeki Shounen Kanzen Soubi - Funny two-volume series about a germaphobic boy.

Provence - Two volumes about a handsome man who works at a cafe.
Safe Again Today - Strange comedy with aliens.
See you in Eden - A volume about art school.
Sugiru Juunana no Haru - A two-volume ghost story.
Sweet Blood - Two-volume detective series.
Torikagoshou no Kyou mo Nemutai Juunintachi - A pretty strange two-volume series.
Vartrag Tale - A one-volume fantasy.
Yasei no Bara - One volume about a friendship between a plant-lover and a boy that is actually a plant.
Kamen no Romanesque - Adaptation of Cruel Intentions.
Koitsukiyo no Himegoto - Taisho-era romance.
Mademoiselle Butterfly - Romance about a geisha.
Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken - Historical gender-bender.

Hakuou no Sono - Beautiful girl at an all-girls school.
Himitsu Kichi - Collection of oneshots.
Himitsu no Shitsuji-kun - Kind of a gender-reversal of Maid-Sama!
Honoka ni Purple - A sweet romance between step-siblings.
Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai (TSUZUKI Setsuri) - Cell phones in minds.
Kimi wa Boku no Mono - Love triangle involving an 11-year-old.
Mimi wo Sumaseba: Shiawase na Jikan
Otona Pink - Student-teacher romance.
